Colin James has been a Darwin resident for more than 20 years and was previously an Executive Partner of Ernst & Young for more than 25 years, in both their Melbourne and Darwin offices. Colin has also served on many Boards in the past and continues to do so, including a number with specific Aboriginal interests. These include indigenous joint ventures with a multi-national listed company and a remote indigenous 4-star tourist resort. Chris Hochman has been a Darwin resident for 40 years and has a wealth of experience in the accounting, taxation and consulting fields. Prior to joining Lowrys, Chris was a Senior Manager with “Big 4” international accounting practices Ernst & Young and Deloitte. He has over 25 years of practical experience and professional qualifications & memberships include: Associate, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Registered Tax Agent and Limited Licence under the Financial Services Reform Act. Chris previously ran his own practice and is keenly aware of difficulties faced by small business owners. The senior management team of Lowrys, in particular, are all long term and respected Darwin residents who have been providing quality services to clients for many years.
