BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the managing director of The Sublime Presentations Company. We're a company that designs presentations primarily for items like PowerPoint, keynotes, but we're also incorporating the world of motion graphics and video production to enhance the presentations as well.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Loftworks?

I was handling the presentation design, motion graphics, and editing work, and was capable of doing so, but it wasn’t my niche that I’m focused on. Because of this, I hired Marc (Creative Director) and his team to be a permanent fixture of my business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Loftworks handles motion graphics, camera work, video editing, and some aspects of the presentation design for my business.

What is the team composition?

I work with Marc, and Alex (Motion Graphics Designer), and other teammates from their company.

How did you come to work with Loftworks?

I used to work for an events company that Marc also worked with. I was able to meet him a couple of times and work with him outside of our company. When Loftworks began, I knew his history. I approached him and started talking about how we could work together on projects.

He did some work for my previous employer and that’s how I got to know him, so I chose him for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about £10,000–£15,000 (approximately $13,400–$20,000 USD).
  
What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Loftworks in June 2016 and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Loftwork's quality of work is very good from a creative point of view. They are ready to go above and beyond in terms of workload. If I didn't trust them, I wouldn't use their services.

How did Loftworks perform from a project management standpoint?

Marc is really good from a project management point of view. He got me more structured and introduced me to Trello. He’s versatile and the clients are always his number one priority. We communicate through email, phone calls, WhatsApp, and Trello. Marc even works on the weekends and is dedicated to the work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

A lot of my clients are very last minute. Loftworks’ ability to get things done quickly and their flexibility are impressive. People come to me because they know I'm going to get the job done, but part of that is Marc and the Loftworks team working behind the scenes. He just wants to keep the clients happy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
