Lobicode was commissioned to engineer a centralized administrative system for the Instapark ecosystem. The primary objective was to consolidate disparate usage metrics and insights from our various microservices into a single, cohesive platform.

The project involved a significant modernization effort, where Lobicode migrated and refactored legacy code from our older microservices to align with a more robust, modern architectural pattern. A major focus of this engagement was ensuring structural scalability and full system transparency. By creating a unified view of our data flows, they enabled us to monitor the reliability and integrity of our entire ecosystem in real-time. Additionally, Lobicode took full ownership of our DevOps infrastructure, designing and implementing a comprehensive automated deployment pipeline for all services involved.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

To demonstrate the success of the project, we look at the transition from operating in a fragmented environment to having a crystal-clear, high-performance ecosystem. The most immediate measurable outcome was the achievement of total visibility across our data flows; where microservices previously functioned as isolated "black boxes," we now have a unified dashboard that ensures 100% transparency. This has fundamentally changed our operational efficiency, cutting our troubleshooting and diagnostic time by more than half. By having real-time insights into the reliability and integrity of every interaction, our team can now proactively address system health rather than reacting to unforeseen errors.

The technical modernization of our old code and the implementation of a robust CI/CD pipeline have also yielded significant dividends in terms of speed and scalability. Our deployment process has evolved from a manual, time-consuming task into a fully automated, zero-downtime operation, drastically increasing our development velocity and time-to-market.

Our communication rhythm was excellent, consisting of regular in-person meetings supplemented by weekly checkups to keep everyone aligned. This consistent touchpoint allowed us to pivot when necessary and ensured that the project’s trajectory always matched our evolving business needs

I'm the commercial director of SMS Parking BV, a company that provides easy and convenient paid parking solutions in the Netherlands through SMS, app, and web, serving both on-street and off-street parking for private and business customers.

LobiCode B.V. has delivered a working platform and a stable app. In the last five years, we've had no downtime, and our customer satisfaction is very high, with a low churn rate.
