We had a bad experience with Livewire Web Design. The process of designing the website went well, but when it came time to go live that part was a very unprofessional experience.

Phil Whiddon was the person we worked with, and he didn't know how to get the website ready before we transferred the DNS pointer to his new website. His going-in game plan was to take the website down for a period of time during the transition to fiddle with the settings. There was no need for downtime. He just didn't have the technical knowledge of how to get the website ready before making the transition.

When I challenged Phil he wasn't interested in doing it without downtime. He became very defensive and unprofessional to work with. We paid a lot of money for this website, and I was not impressed with their technical knowledge or their professionalism at the end. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company.

They were good at web design but bad at professionalism.

Not much.

Professionalism.  Finishing the job.  Learning some technical knowledge.
