Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner and director of a small private tour company. We take mainly American and Canadian citizen tourists around Scotland. We give them customized experiences with excellent tour guides and nice off-market vehicles.

What challenge were you trying to address with LGC media?

I reached out to them for web development and SEO services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

LGC media built our website originally many years ago. Recently, they upgraded it to what it is today and constantly make improvements on it without having to be asked. They also work on SEO to improve our Google rankings. 

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Lewis (Owner). 

How did you come to work with LGC media?

I’d already met Lewis ten years ago in a previous job. After all those years, someone recommended LGC media to me and I recognized him, so we started working together. 

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested £3,500 every year (approximately $5,000 USD), over the past five years. I give them a standing order monthly, however, they didn’t charge me extra for updating the website. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our partnership around January 2016, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

LGC media’s work has had a very positive business impact. Thanks to recommendations and so many inquiries coming from the website, I actually can’t take any more work and have to pass it on. Even during these difficult times, I still get inquiries. 

How did LGC media perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s been pretty good. The team approaches me and tells me their work plan; I don’t have to go to them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Because of COVID-19, our business has been going through a rough patch, and LGC media very thoughtfully reduced their costs; that has helped us a great deal. We’re also very satisfied with the results. If something has to be done, they get right to the point and work on it. I’ve had no problems at all and I’ll keep working with them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m happy with them and I don’t have anything to improve. If there is something that concerns me, I just talk to them and sort it out.

Any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise them to be upfront and tell LGC media exactly what they want. Don’t make them have to guess. There are so many types of business, and you can’t expect them to know every one of them; be forthright with your needs.
