The tracker is functional, very aesthetically pleasing and ultimately fulfills the requirement entirely. I could not be any more impressed and excited about the outcome.

As a startup we needed ongoing support for our product roadmap that included a variety of new feature builds but most importantly we needed upgrades to our admin functions, the speed of our platform, and other optimization features. We ended up adding new features like user badges, new messaging functionalities, reworked project profiles and more.

We needed help building a functioning MVP of our SaaS platform to bring it to life and become a viable business while we focused on the marketing and branding aspects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let's Build My App has developed a Chrome extension, LinkedIn API connection, and a fully functioning SaaS platform that solves three key features of what we want to build. The team has also set up the backend and connected it to other key tools to ensure the UX and integrations work flawlessly. The three key features are an inbox manager for LinkedIn messages, a better way to search and organize LinkedIn saved posts, and a way to curate content from creators and topics that matter most to our users on LinkedIn.

We started working with Let's Build My App in May 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Let's Build My App has built functioning features and made bug fixes and improvements to the UX. The team has reduced bugs, and we've noticed that they've worked on the ones they've discovered and the ones we've noticed. Most of the bugs have been on the messaging feature since it's the most complex one to build. We haven't launched the app yet, but we'll do it in the coming weeks.

How did Let's Build My App perform from a project management standpoint?

Let's Build My App's delivery time has been altered, but it's not due to the team being slow or problematic. The scope has grown from an MVP to a V1, and some of the features have been more complicated than expected. We want to build something functional that we can be proud of, and Alex has always been transparent and clear about expectations. He has also taken ownership of any delays, even though they weren't his fault.Overall, Let's Build My App's project management has been solid. We've used Slack, virtual 1:1 meetings, and ClickUp to keep track of everything we need. The team is fast to jump on bugs or improvements we've suggested, even if we're picky about small things. There are no hesitations to jump on the bugs and make the app how we envision it. Alex and his developers are top-notch.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Let's Build My App's knowledge of Bubble.io is impressive. Their developers can also navigate complex APIs with limited instructions on how to use them in a way that helps our app come to life. This is on top of building a Chrome extension, which is required for the app to function properly.Moreover, Alex's passion for making cool apps and genuinely wanting to work with us to see the project through is impressive. He's just as excited about the project as we are!

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not much comes to mind. Maybe we could have more consistent 1:1 virtual meetings to recap where things are and connect on upcoming work. We don't need to meet weekly, but we could meet twice a month for 30 minutes.

Started with a wire frame. Used Trello to manage the product. I took on a QA role, so I could report the bugs, but they offered that as well. I just wanted to do it and have been in software development for a while.

Many developers don't allow you to change the scope in the middle of the project. We didn't have HUGE changes (those were rolled into the next project), but I was able to change red flag issues or critical issues that we all felt just weren't discoverable until we started testing the product.

Communication can always be better, doesn't matter how good a group is. With that being said, we were able to complete the project with all the necessary communication required to get the project done in a reasonable time frame.

To create a fully functional mobile parking marketplace app for delivery to the App store and Google Play store. Use of my existing wireframes and additional creative problem solving during the build. 

The scope document is far too large to paste here. Alex took the core wireframes and created the app from scratch from the new user onboarding, lost password, to the actual functionality of the dual sided marketplace, all the way through stripe payment setup, reviews, and my owner's dashboard as well as testing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Alex kept me informed at all steps, also through the use of Trello board and Slack. Measurable outcomes were (1) first getting the framework of the app set up, (2) then working on the UI, (3) then the backend payment interaction, and (4) finally testing and getting approval in the app store.

Everything was delivered on time. Alex was very communicative if something was taking longer than expected and explained why and then was able to delivery. Very responsive, within maybe an hour of a request I would have a well thought out response. He also is good at explaining why or why not we should do one thing or the other, especially to me who is not incredibly coder/tech savvy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They did what they said they would on the timeline and budget agreed upon. I can't ask for more than that! I thought that from the jump, Alex "got" my project and understood what it was and what I was trying to accomplish. Moreover, when there was an issue--like something I wanted was going to be difficult to do or potentially time consuming/costly, we would hop on a zoom and go through it and brainstorm workarounds.

This really helped get to the amazing final product and again helped me (non-technical) feel comfortable with the direction we were going. That little extra personal touch goes a long way toward the trust factor that I am in good hands.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Let's Build My App could have done differently?

Not that I can think of. Reasonably priced, Stuck to the timeline, and most importantly--created an app that I am incredibly proud of.
