We needed a designer who could support me on an as-needed basis, not a full time hire. Leanteams connected us with multiple designers and we worked with Martin from Argentina who felt like a good fit from the start. We started slow, a few hours here and there, and over time the work grew and he was with us full time so it made sense to bring him in-house. It's a good model if you're not ready to commit to a full time hire straight away

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most concrete outcome is that we hired him full time after a year of working together. Day to day, having reliable design capacity helped us focus on higher priority work without staying stuck wth execution. The ramp up from part time to full time was smooth and the flexibility is well appreciated in an uncertain startup environment

Leanteams sent candidates within a couple of days. Once we picked someone, they handled the contract and payments on their end so I never had to deal with any of that. When I needed to adjust hours up or down, it was a simple conversation. No admin overhead on my side at any point during the year we worked together.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The speed was the first thing, but what I started to appreciate more that they handle everything on the administrative side. Contracts, payments, all of it goes through them. I just work with the designer and get invoiced. For someone managing a team I don't need that extra layer of complexity

Not for now, I think everything was perfectly executed.

We needed someone who could build sophisticated automated marketing and sales funnels, which required a specific combination of technical and marketing skills. Leanteams sent multiple candidates very quickly and we chose Oscar. The first two months were focused on building the core system, and then we moved into ongoing maintenance and optimization, which has worked really well. Being able to shift the scope of the engagement as our needs changed made the whole thing much easier to manage. We’re now seven months in, still working together, and would recommend leanteams to anyone looking for freelance devs in latam.

Built the core automated marketing and sales funnel system in the first two months, then transitioned smoothly into ongoing maintenance and optimization. The engagement is still active, which reflects the quality of the work and the success of the partnership. Flexibility in adjusting the scope as needs changed was also a major contributor to the project’s success.

They managed the project well, delivered the initial build on time, and communicated clearly throughout the process. They were responsive to our needs, especially as the scope evolved, and made the transition from core implementation to ongoing maintenance very smooth. We needed someone who could build custom automations for our marketing funnels, which is a pretty specific skill set. LeanTeams found us an engineer based in Brazil who knew exactly what he was doing. He got up to speed fast and started delivering real work quickly. Three months in he's still with us and has become genuinely useful to the business, not just a contractor we check in with occasionally. The automations he's built have had a direct impact on how our funnels perform. We're planning to keep the engagement going and would recommend LeanTeams to other agency owners.
