The goal is to provide an overview of our marketing channels and how we convert on each of them. Can we identify which channels perform and how we convert? YellowBeard aims to build a marketing machine that can generate leads for our sales department, ensuring the 2025 sales budget is achieved.

The purpose is also to enable better forecasting. If we know how we convert our leads and how many leads we can generate per month, the sales director and CEO can act accordingly.

There is also an element of risk diversification by generating leads across different channels. It is highly likely that we will see fluctuations in performance across channels throughout the year. We do not want to bet all our resources on one option, risking losing momentum at certain times.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The conclusion for 2024 is that for every 1,- spent on marketing, YellowBeard has generated 2.6,-, resulting in a return on investment of nearly 1/3. Speaking in terms of ROAS (only ad spending and SEO), the ratio is 1/3.4. Already in 2025, it is evident that YellowBeard’s CPA has decreased by 1983.55,- per lead, indicating a significant improvement and a highly positive impact on the marketing case. If this can be combined with an improved closing rate from the sales team and ensuring that leads are not sold to competitors, 2025 looks very promising with regards to investments in marketing.
