We had over 50 clients, from different industries ( ecommerce, universities, health insurances, fintechs, banks, etc) , from different sizes and locations, and all of them had a different commercial agreement ( we charged them a % over the investment they did on paid media, and that % was variable). 

On top of that, many clients had different business units, and all of them had their facebook account, google ads account and analytcis account ( at least). so we were talking about a lot of accounts, too much room for errors.  so we decided to build a software to help us onboard the client fast, and to be able to watch their performance live on just one platform, with that 3 dsta sources unified. we used Big Query as a dsta wharehouse.

We had a perfectly working mvp for 50 clients, with reports working fine, with onboarding process working fine and billing as well

Improve the Front End:

1. Redesign and Enhancement: They updated the user interface to be more modern, intuitive, and user-friendly. They ensured compatibility across different devices and browsers.
2. Performance Optimization: They improved the speed and responsiveness of the website, reducing load times and enhancing the overall user experience.
3. User Experience (UX) Design: They implemented best practices in UX design (from work delivered by us).

Streamline the Workflow of My Team:

1. Workflow Improvement: They evaluated how we worked and implemented best practices for the entire team.
2. Process Optimization: They improved processes using staging as a test environment, which significantly reduced errors during sprints.
3. Negative Aspect: We lost a lot of time and hours due to team changes on Latech's side. This is no longer an issue.

Continuously Enhance and Stay Updated with the Latest Advancements in eCommerce:

1. Continuous Improvements: Juan, for a large part of the project, pushed for the development of new features that he saw working with other providers. This has been a key factor in our continued collaboration and the main barrier to building our own team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Latech Factory's greatest achievement was launching the product and keeping it stable. They completely revamped the front end and improved the customer purchase flow. I believe there is still a lot more to improve in the store, and there are many enhancements already designed and ready for development.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

About Tomas and Edu, I can’t say anything negative. As I mentioned earlier, with the previous project manager, it was a disaster and a great waste of time and energy. We had to tell him things three times, and even then, what we had discussed never fully happened. 

One issue I’m experiencing with the hours we have: I believe that there are more hours being spent on product management and project management (Edu and Tomi), and also on design, compared to development. It’s unbalanced. 

We have at least three months of front-end design work, and the meetings we should have in the next three months should be focused on follow-ups, testing, and sprint deployments. Therefore, I would like all possible resources within the team to be dedicated to development (I discussed this with Andy).

Are there any areas for improvement or something Latech Factory could have done differently?

In my case, I would like Juan to suggest some improvements to implement, as he did at the beginning, based on what he has seen in other eCommerce platforms and improve the balance of my hours. Not much more.
