We are a SaaS based Formula Costing platform for cosmetic and supplement manufacturers.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Laspra Soft to accomplish?

• Utilize APIs to talk to other customer softwares (PLMs, ERPs, etc)
• Setup hosting and define system architecture for future growth.
• Build a SaaS MVP to transition a complex cosmetic manufacturing cost-estimation process from Excel to a custom software platform. We needed to develop a fully functioning MVP with formula library, raw material database, and dynamic pricing calculators to take to market quickly.

The scope of work included generating a web based platform, with MVP functionality to help with costing exercises for manufacturers. Following MVP there were several feature enhancement and sprints that led to increase platform value and evaluation. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Successful Market Launch: We were able to take the complex custom SaaS project to market as a polished product.

ogic Accuracy: The software successfully replicated and improved upon complex Excel costing logic (handling scrap rates, volume indexing, and price breaks).

User Experience: Successful implementation of visual tools (graphs and scroll bars) to visualize price-over-volume changes.

Data Migration: The ability for the system to handle flat-file importing and mapping from other systems.

Projects were unkept in Trello, with great communication throughout the process including web based meetings and continuous slack channel messaging.
