It was to be around a 12 minute video with two intentions: 

• Educate civilians as to what veterans go through combat, non-combat, woman 
• The imporatnce of employers to hire veterans. 

The challenge was to be interesting enough to keep watching for 12 minutes. Kyro also helped with marketing it out in social media and we received over 100k views in three months.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

To date: 

• Over 130,000 views.  
• 4,300 likes (very minimal dislikes) and over 1,100 subscribers.  

Additionally, the comments are very moving, raw and honest.  Very Pleased!

They were in constant communication and when I suggested changes, they were responsive and timely with their changes. They also responded after hours, if needed.

Their passion for what I was doing and attention to detail. The B roll was very good and at first, there were a few things I didn't care for and gave them some ideas. I’m the director of marketing and communications at a supplier of commercial vehicle products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kyro?

We had a new product launch, so we wanted a video commercial not only to support the launch but also to help us promote our technology brand in the marketplace.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with Kyro and their project management team to produce the commercial we needed. It was a six-month-long process that included storyboard and graphic look and feel development, messaging definition, filming, animation, edition, and musicalization.

This commercial was a mixture of live-action and 3D animation, and Kyro handled both aspects. As for the live-action part, the video required a lot of production. We had to shut down a road, film in the middle of the desert overnight, bring police cars, add fire, and bring in an actual live bull, all of which was part of the story we were trying to tell. In addition to the filming, Kyro took care of setting up the logistics and schedules for all these aspects.

The video commercial has been posted on our social media channels, and it is featured on our website. Additionally, we’ve used it for paid advertising campaigns.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Kyro’s owner and CEO, the creative director, and a project manager, who were the core three people involved in the first project. Still, Kyro provides an extensive network of full-time contractors, including CGI animators, music producers, and the filming crew.

How did you come to work with Kyro?

We did a Google search to look at and compare various high-end video production companies because we required a movie-like quality commercial. We interviewed Kyro and 4–5 other companies and went through a formal bidding process, which they ended up winning.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2020, and the project took six months, but we weren’t able to launch the video until December 2021. Since that first project, we’ve continued working with Kyro on a lot of other projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were extremely happy with Kyro’s work. Thanks to them, we won three gold Telly Awards for the commercial.

How did Kyro perform from a project management standpoint?

Kyro’s project management was very good. We communicated via emails and phone calls, and we used Frame.io to review the video, make edits, and post comments.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Kyro is the best video production agency we’ve ever worked with. They offer quality outcomes, great customer service, and excellent creativity; they blend responsiveness and idea execution perfectly.

Another great aspect of them is that they took the time to learn about our business, demonstrating real care about the final result, even beyond other companies. They’re the only company I’ve worked with that has truly convinced me that they care more about the result than getting paid.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. We had a great experience working with Kyro, and they did a great job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take the time to talk with them before the project starts to understand what you’re getting and what you’re signing up for. Make sure that both parties are on the same page and provide them with the information they need. The more information you can give to them, the better the end result will be.

I'm the Creative Director and Head of UX at Altisource. Altisource is a leader in the default servicing and originations industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Kyro, and what were your goals?

We had a last minute idea to include a 60 second video in a keynote speech for a large event. This video is meant to create excitement for a new product being launch at the event.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've worked previously with this vendor.

This was a last minute request with only 2 weeks to turn everything around. We had a discovery meeting and discussed our needs in as much detail as possible. I wrote the script and Kyro took it from there. They provided a storyboard within a couple of days and several voiceover options. Within a mater of days they had a first cut of the video and pretty much nailed on that first try. We had a couple of rounds of minor changes. A project we gave them 12 business days to do was done in about 8.

We worked directly with the project manager and the leadership team at Kyro. Everyone was helpful.

Not at this moment since the event is in a couple of days. However, we are extremely pleased with the quality of work and the speed.

I’m the head of product marketing of Apnea Sciences Corporation, a medical device company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kyro?

We sell an anti-snoring mouthpiece at a consumer level. We wanted to produce some instructional videos for our clients to explain how the product works.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kyro produced a series of instructional videos as well as some marketing videos for us. We just provided the scripts and essentially gave them the full creative freedom to execute the project however they thought was appropriate.

Not a lot of people are familiar with our products, so part of their responsibilities was to learn and be confident with how the product works before they actually produced the videos. We gave them a few samples of the product so that they can try it themselves. They took the time to get deeply involved in the process and have authentic experiences with the product, all of which was reflected in the work that they made.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Kyro did a really great job with the instructional and marketing videos. They were able to produce videos that stayed true to the ideals of our branding.

When we eventually start to focus on our marketing efforts down the road, we’ll definitely reach out to Kyro to produce more videos for us.

How did Kyro perform from a project management standpoint?

Kyro performed excellently in terms of project management — they were quite honestly the best I’ve ever seen. Bethany, our project manager, was great. She was responsive, thorough with her follow-up, and incredibly patient with us throughout the project. 

The most impressive part was how they held me through the entire process. They also strictly adhered to the schedule and were easy to communicate with.

We primarily communicated through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was really impressed with the quality of Kyro’s work and their engagement with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I couldn't think of anything that Kyro could do to improve. It was really pleasant to work with them.

They took full control of the project, so you just have to let them do what they have to do. There was very little effort on our part, which was very refreshing.

We started with a discovery and brainstorming session so that they could better understand our vision and goal for each video, then their team visited our new office to scout the site and get a better feel for shot lists, and then we had filming day!

We work with tons of great people at Kyro from Justin to Bethany to Luke, Spencer and more! Everyone on their team is so easy, kind and professional. They also do a fantastic job of helping our subjects feel comfortable in front of the camera and do a great job of directing. The Kyro team really works with us to ensure our vision is realized.

Our recruitment video has several thousand views across our social pages and has contributed to fulfilling four empty roles at our company.

I am the Vice President of a HealthTech Media Company called TMG360 Media. We help companies in the medical device / Health Technology industry increase attention and awareness around their company, technology, milestones, etc. We do this through video production, editorial coverage, social media, corporate communications, and more.

We had a very specific project in mind called the Signature Company Video, where we would cinematically communicate a company's story. So often the industry's only exposure to a company is its website, minimal social media presence, and in-person events. By telling the company's story in a visually and emotionally compelling way, we wanted potential supporters to quickly understand the mission and want to work with them because they feel connected to the company.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Choosing Kyro Digital was the easiest decision I had to make in terms of who would produce and edit the Signature Company Videos. I had worked with the Founder, Justin Sherman previously and was captivated by his forward-thinking visuals and creative vision. After meeting the rest of his team during the first exploratory call it was clear that he had assembled the top talent in the field.

We start each project with an exploratory call to overview the client, the client's goals and share client assets so the Kyro team is familiar with the organization. After, we get on a call to start brainstorming concepts to pitch to the client. Once we determine a few concepts, the Kyro team sends over a presentation with the Concept Pitches summarized. My team meets with the client and reviews the concepts. Once we agree on which concept to move forward, we meet back up with Kyro to further discuss the identified concept, discuss potential visuals, discuss unique filming or ideas on how we can best achieve the concept.

Next, my team writes a basic script and gets that approved by the client. The script is sent over to Kyro so they can start blocking out the video production. Kyro then meets with the client in a "get to know you" call to answer any questions the client may have. Kyro then sends over a production document that outlines the who, what, where, when, why, and how. As well as content information and even suggestions on what to wear. The client and my team fly out to the studio where we film the production in chapters and at the end work on B-roll opportunities.

Live during the production the Kyro team will make in real-time edits to visuals, lighting, props, etc. After the production is filmed, the Kyro team sends us a rough cut. My team meets with the client to review the rough cut. 3 rounds of edits later, the Kyro team colorizes and adds the final details to the video production and we have a beautiful 3-minute Signature Company Video.

We worked with nearly every team member, but the day-to-day feedback process was with Kyro's Project Manager, Bethany Moore. Bethany is extremely responsive, thorough, precise, and a joy to work with in every capacity. The same can really be said for each member of the Kyro team. The review/feedback process was effortless and effective.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our measure of success is our clients' satisfaction. In each case, every one of our clients were thrilled with the end result and shared anecdotal evidence that supported their approval. The end result also speaks for itself, just stunning.

Beyond video chat programs, like Zoom, to review the video production we used Frame.io. The entire process was extremely organized and timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The forward-thinking, cinematic approach to all of the video productions. We wanted a "mini-commercial" for an industry that has not embraced that mindset. Kyro delivered in spades. Every shoot brought with it new, engaging visuals.

I'm the content marketing manager at Ogury. We are a global leader in mobile brand advertising, delivering superior and sustainable ad results to advertisers and publishers, in total respect of consumer privacy.

We wanted to promote our mobile video formats, and what better way to do that than through video. The tricky thing was that we were refreshing our brand at the same time, and it was crucial for the video to reflect the new image.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Kyro based on their previous work. The visuals on their site mirrored what we were looking for - creative yet professional.

We started with an initial chat for Kyro to learn more about Ogury and our vision for the project. We then moved on to storyboarding. there were three rounds of storyboarding with feedback incorporated at every stage. And, as mentioned, we were rebranding at the same time so we often used slack to share any latest approved designs that would be useful for the video.

Once we moved to production, we started using Frame IO to review the video in motion. It was a great and effective way of working. The final files were turned around very quickly, both with captions and without. We later returned to Kyro to make edits to the video with a tight turnaround. They slotted us in to get this work done quickly, which was appreciated.

We worked mainly with Luke. Feedback was a mixture of emails, slack messages and video chats. Kyro, my colleague and I were all in different timezones, but Kyro was very flexible and accommodating with meetings. We even used it to our advantage.

We are still in the process of rolling out the video, but it has been well received internally. It will be a crucial tool for the sales team to showcase our video solution to clients and prospects in a clear and concise way.

Kyro has a dedicated project manager who kept us updated, asked for clarification where it was required etc. Their responses were always very efficient, max 1 working day. We used slack, email, and google meet for our communications.

I appreciated the way they were able to add to our ideas and create something visual. They readily suggested fun elements throughout the video to bring the frames to life.

We looked for video vendors with good reviews and a rate that was within our budget. We searched Clutch.co and contacted several vendors and after a few calls, we decided to go with Kyro.

We worked with the a project manager and the lead producer, both of whom were very responsive. After each video draft, we would give feedback and they would communicate with their editors and animators. They shared their work via frame.io which allowed us to comment directly on certain designs or timestamps.

We displayed the videos on a virtual event page that debuted the fintech company's new brand. The videos effectively communicated the new products and services that the fintech company offered and garnered a lot of interest from website visitors.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We mostly spoke over video chat and email since their team was remote.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very responsive and they stayed within the agreed budget, even though the deliverables became more complex than originally planned. They were a high-integrity company with great communication skills and customer service. We felt very well taken care of.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Since the entire project had many moving parts, a project management software that shows the exact status of each deliverable may have been helpful. But this would just have been a bonus. Everything was handled very well through video calls and emails.

We reached out and give a brief description on what we needed, after that Kyro gave a very comprehensive and easy to follow breakdown on their operations and costs.

We hoped on a pre consultation meeting to which Kyro made sure to get every detail for the shoot even some our team had not considered. Once everything was set they showed up with a very professional team who executed the day flawlessly and with a smile.

After we finished up they followed up for a debrief which was much appreciated and had out team feeling well taken care of.

Kyro was extremely quick to respond to questions and any concerns the team had. If there was an issue their response was always with some soft of solution as an option. The communication was flawless thanks to their dedicated team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their flexibility was most impressive. Lots of things changed during our project and the way Kyro handled all of it left a lasting impression on our team. Definitely something you don't get with many production companies.

I strongly believe Kryo has a fantastic heading on their approach and couldn't think of anything that stood out as a negative.
