Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a program manager for Nova Futur, Ltd., a computer software firm. We’re working on two main streams — the first being a digital bank for customers in Switzerland. On the other side, we’re working on machine learning projects for customer behavior analysis.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kyos?

We hired Kyos to address security points for the digital bank. We need encryption so customer data be completely in the hands of the bank.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re using Kyos’ expertise to build a secure infrastructure for the digital bank. With their help, we’re able to use our own keys to encrypt the data in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. They instruct us on how to encrypt data from four different service providers while keeping it available for NoSQL functionalities.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with one engineer from Kyos.

How did you come to work with Kyos?

We have one team member who is responsible for partnerships and they found Kyos through market research.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent €20,000–€30,000 (approximately $24,000–$36,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Kyos in November 2020 and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Kyos is a critical part of the program. Without this solution, we couldn’t release the product.

Not only do they suggest solutions, but they also help us adopt them. At the moment, they’re providing all necessary consultancy and related activities.

How did Kyos perform from a project management standpoint?

They communicate with us via email and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been impressed by their professionalism with security-related issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Kyos is expensive, but prices in Switzerland are much higher than in the rest of Europe.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Trust them because they’re experts in security.
