Our project began with close collaboration with Lukasz to discuss our ideas and requirements. We quickly transitioned to an incremental implementation approach, with a clear understanding of the project's scope and objectives. KosmosKod team provided us with weekly updates and feature-rich software for review and feedback, ensuring that we were satisfied with the progress at every stage. 

As a result of this seamless process, we successfully developed a comprehensive online booking system and website that met all our expectations. The entire journey was smooth and hassle-free, with a great level of communication and understanding between our team and KosmosKod.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Following the implementation of our customized booking system, there was a significant reduction in the amount of time employees spent managing bookings. Additionally, the integration of calendar and back-office tools allowed for a notable decrease in errors related to order handling, with an error rate approaching zero.

Throughout the project, we received weekly updates on the progress of our system, with complete module demonstrations delivered for our review. This enabled us to provide feedback promptly and maintain a fast pace of development. 

Our communication with the KosmosKod team primarily occurred via messaging app, which fostered a sense of cohesion and partnership between our organizations. All project changes were discussed with a focus on our goals and implemented promptly, with some adjustments made as needed. 

Consequently, the project was delivered within the agreed-upon timeline. Overall, we describe their project management as highly professional and customer-focused.

One of the most remarkable qualities of KosmosKod is its small team size, which facilitated direct communication about any issues that arose, allowing us to discuss and implement available solutions directly with the developer, who had a keen understanding of our needs. 

By eliminating the need for additional accounts and unnecessary intermediaries, we were able to expedite the project and deliver high-quality, thoroughly tested software customized to our specific requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something KosmosKod could have done differently?

One aspect in which KosmosKod could improve is by increasing their accessibility and availability for new projects. Due to their small team size, they are presently able to support only a limited number of projects and customers.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We started working with KosmosKod by presenting our requirements and discussing our hi-fi mockups for a mobile application on Android, together with the design agency. We quickly set up deadlines and project milestones, with monthly demo presentations. 

During development, we encountered architectural and technical issues, which we were able to resolve in a very short timeframe with instant communication and great teamwork. As a result we released our first Android mobile app for our global audiobook distribution. 

The biggest challenge we faced later was the development of the iOS mobile app which in particular required uncommon and sophisticated solutions to implement IAP payments combined with donation payments and extensive backend modifications. The KosmosKod team did a great job and provided us with working mobile app interfaces and back office modules. The work resulted in delivery of a fast and reliable iOS mobile application. 

Subsequent maintenance services and change implementations were delivered quickly and at a reasonable cost, keeping our mobile app up to date and compatible with new IOS and Android platform releases.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With the help of the KosmosKod team, we have successfully launched mobile applications for iOS and Android. The implementation of Apple IAP and online donation payments helped to ensure a seamless user experience on both platforms. Thanks to smooth, ongoing maintenance and few changes to the original project, we have a highly rated mobile audiobook app in both stores.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Due to many challenges on both sides and few changes to the original project, the first delivery of the Android mobile app was a bit behind schedule. However, the team made great efforts to catch up and with the later iOS release KosmosKod met the project deadline. All other improvements during the maintenance period were delivered exactly as agreed.

We were most impressed with their expertise and responsiveness to our needs at every stage of the collaboration - from the start of a project, through software development, to maintenance. Anything that required change or advice was quickly fed back to the team and the solution was ready for implementation.

Are there any areas for improvement or something KosmosKod could have done differently?

We would like to suggest more frequent demo presentations and internal testing, especially at the beginning of the project. This could eliminate potential delays in early releases.
