BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We provide online marketing services, such as SEO, SEA and CRO. We are a small company (under 10 employees). I am the co-owner and CEO of the company.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a website that stands out of the rest, but still would look very professional. Also we had our designs ready and wanted the website to exactly look like the designs.

How did you select this vendor?

We have been working together for a long time already, we know the owners of the company very well since we met at a conference. The company is known for delivering quality, especially for websites with custom design.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Based on our website design, they took it over and developed our website in WordPress from scratch. They used as less as plugins or add-ons as possible, to keep the website speed high.

What was the team composition?

Our first POC at Kodework was the customer succes manager, dedicated to communicate with our designer. Since it was not a big project, this was done by a single front-end developer and one person to conduct QA. Before handing over, everything was checked by the delivery manager of Kodework.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We have become a very fast and smooth website, which gives us the opportunity to keep visitors on our website and with that create high quality leads for our business. We have seen an increase of requests coming in through our website after we launched it.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very smooth. The good thing when it runs smooth, is that there is almost no forth and back. They were asking the right questions in the start of the project, so they knew what they were doing. During the project we communicated over Slack and if needed Google Meets for a videocall.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive about the company is the way they have scaled up over the past years. Often when a company grows this fast, it somehow affects delivery time or quality of the project, but at Kodework the opposite happens. Because of thorough and good HR management, they are able to select, place and keep highly educated and experienced developers. I think that is key of Kodework's success.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is not much to improve in my opinion. If I would have to mention something, then it would be to give more detailed written feedback. This is what they already do in the video conferences we have.
