I’m the managing partner of a media company.

What challenge were you trying to address with kode.software?

We needed them to create a website for us for a product we’re going to launch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website is a landing page for a SaaS product, and they did a lot of frontend work in CSS.

How did you come to work with kode.software?

We found them on Upwork. We considered a few other companies but we chose kode.software because of their cost and eagerness to do the job.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $500 on the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together during June 2020. Our coder is working to finalize the backend and we’re going to launch the site soon.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The design work is quite good. It’s definitely the best we’ve found so far. They’re going to be our go-to firm as of now because of the quality we get for the cost.

How did kode.software perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication was good and to the level that we needed. I invited them to our Slack channel so we were in constant contact. They were okay with deadlines, but we made some mistakes internally and give him some things too late, which caused us to have to re-do some things. They were quite flexible, though. Because he was working on a fixed time, he would let us know when a job would take too much time and we would agree on an extra fee.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their code is quite nice. They did a tidy job. Our coder was happier with kode.software’s work compared to what we’d seen from other companies. It was easy to link the backend to it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We weren’t thorough in giving him enough information in the beginning, but he could also have asked for it himself. That’s the only issue we ever had.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Iron out all the questions in the beginning and go through your package thoroughly.
