Hi, I'm Kathrin!

I am a commercial freelance photographer based in London. I specialize in beauty and product photography, which has had me internationally published in print and online.

Modern minimalism and attention to detail!​

Based on my scientific interest in close observation (that led me to study Biochemistry in a previous life), I have developed the skills and the eye for details, From a bit of eyebrow hair that won't stay in place to a flower petal that should be placed 3 mm to the left - it is all about the little things that make the image. 

This will elevate the outcome of a shoot and the client's work. The hard work that went into making products should be honored by carefully crafting images that reflect the quality and ethos of the makers. Beauty photography must come with a natural edit - no airbrushed skin without flaws. Yes, there are a few finishing touches, but making skin an unrecognizable texture is not part of my work. Fun fact - I wrote my BA dissertation about skin - even before I knew I'd become a beauty photographer. You should have given me a hint, really...!​

It is important to me to provide my clients with the most beautiful content for their brands—you will never see me sending over half-heartedly produced or edited imagery.
