Four months of one-to-one sales coaching with Seb at Kandour, on fortnightly calls. Each call reviewed my real prospect conversations, outbound messages, ICP targeting etc. and set the focus for the next two weeks. We built a repeatable sales process from first conversation to decision, and worked on prospecting volume, closing (booking the decision meeting before leaving the first one), value-based pricing and handling objections. The key deliverable was a sales system I now run every week.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The first deal I closed after starting with Kandour more than doubled what I'd spent on the coaching. Since then I've closed almost 60% of the proposals that reached a decision, with a median of 24 days from first meeting to signed deal.

My outreach went from occasional to a weekly routine - 107 businesses approached, and roughly 1 in 8 booking a meeting. I now have a repeatable sales process that we measure and tighten every fortnight.

Seb was always on time - every fortnightly call happened as planned, and anything he said he'd send arrived when he said it would. He didn't stick to a fixed programme. Each call started from what I brought: a prospect conversation that went wrong, a proposal I wasn't sure about, or an objection I kept hitting.

Between calls he replied to messages quickly and reviewed my outreach and proposals when I asked, so I never had to wait two weeks for an answer.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was Seb's ability to cut through the confusion. I'd often turn up with too much context and too many ideas, and he'd find the one lever that would actually win me deals. When my data showed door knocking was working better than cold messaging, he told me to double down on it rather than trying to fix everything at once.

He found a method that worked for me, not a generic sales playbook.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Kandour could have done differently?

Honestly, the only thing I'd change is having more of his time. The fortnightly calls were the most useful part of my week, and there were plenty of times I'd have happily had another session sooner.
