It's surprising (and disheartening) how often I talk to companies who were sold the wrong products or solutions for their needs because the products were "less expensive" and ended up paying more later in lost time and/or re-worked projects. You often really do get what you pay for with technology. Of course, sometimes I run in to the other side too, where the customer was over-sold! What owners and managers really need is help to find solutions that make business sense first.
