Our firm is a niche , Regulatory data automation product company for Banking and Insurance.

For what projects/services did your company hire JS Tigers, and what were your goals?

We needed to build a unified UI component library to help meet certain repeatable needs of our data platform. These needs were served in the past by disparate components combined with customisation. We decided to standardize these into a React Library that we contracted JS Tigers to build.

SOLUTION

How did you select JS Tigers and what were the deciding factors?

We executed a 3 week trial build option at cost to ensure both parties were vested in the outcomes of the trial.

JS tigers were very forthcoming in ensuring the quality of their deliverables were on the mark and would go to.extents to keep it that way.

They are a young team, but they still stayed on top of things, ensure adequate client communication and frequent updates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to learn new technologies and the team proved that they could work within constraints on the project. Their focus and diligence is worthy of mention.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could look to improve their design areas and look to introduce a senior developer to help scale their team.

I own and manage an international and domestic travel agency that specializes in family and couple travel.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with JS Tigers?

We’ve used Google Apps Script to automate our internal processes since it was originally deployed. We use it to service our clients and manage my team. Everyone on my team is an independent contractor, so we have to process commissions based on what we receive from travel suppliers. We use this platform to calculate and facilitate payroll. However, we needed a newer version that was easier to use.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

 We needed a simpler backend that was more robust when it came to reporting. The new application uses JavaScript and is more user-friendly for management.

What is the team composition?

I’ve been in contact with three developers. However, I know there have been others involved, even though I haven’t worked with them directly.

How did you come to work with JS Tigers?

Rakesh (Co-Founder) was part of the development team for the system I was already using. He was ready and willing to proceed with the development of a new system.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2016 and our project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve been integral in scaling my business. They’ve let me built on my business by automating a lot of our processes. The technology they’ve developed helps us stay ahead of the competition.

They understand what our needs are and have always been able to deliver. Every issue I’ve had, they’ve been able to troubleshoot and resolve it. Our engagement has been great. Of course, there have been some hiccups, but Neelima helped streamline communication and resolved that issue.

How did JS Tigers perform from a project management standpoint?

They share all of their documentation through Google Sheets and Google Docs. I also have on-on-one interactions with Rakesh and Neelima (Co-Founder). Whenever I have questions or need additional instruction, they’re accessible. Any time I send an email, they respond almost immediately.

It helps the Neelima is in the same time zone as me, so we don’t have to work outside of normal office hours to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their response time is critical, especially since we deal with time-sensitive information. Our clients demand a quick response, and I appreciate that JS Tigers gets back to us quickly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve been great since day one.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We’re able to communicate face-to-face and that has ensured that we’re on the same page as them. It’s important to keep all lines of communication open.
