To build an integrated real estate platform that facilitates seamless property transactions, listings, and user interactions, enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
Key Deliverables:
Mobile apps for buyers (Android/iOS), web backends for buyers, sellers, brokers, and platform owners, featuring property listings, blockchain-based ownership verification, smart contracts for transactions, subscription and payment management, and analytics dashboards.
User Roles:
Multiple user types including buyers (residential/commercial), sellers, brokers, legal and financial partners, and platform admins.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jointworks Solutions LLP, and what were your goals?

Our V2 had serious bugs which were needed to be resolved so that our current customers would be able to use the software until the new release was completed. The new release required 2 major API integrations and complete rebuild using a different code language and architecture.

This vendor had done some work for one of our investors in the past.

They were to repair bugs in the R o R version of our V2 software. They were tasked with using an existing architecture for a new release in Golang using microservices supported by containers. They were also to work with our partner companies to complete API connections into this new architecture. The software contains many feature sets required by subscribers and is considered enterprise level software.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

For the V2 repair there was one R o R specialist. We had one front end desginer and anuglar specialist, 2 back end developers working on main features and 2 developers working on APIs. Regular meetings were scheduled with the Project manager to plan and discuss progress and any issues.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

There were no measurable results after 5 months and many thousands of dollars invested. In February 2022 a trusted previous CTO revealed that that there was no code deposited or committed in the gitlab account. When confronted, we found that they had a mad race to upload code but nothing was ever done to review or merge it. The project manager often missed scheduled meetings claiming family duties. We reviewed the on API that was reportedly completed and our partner revealed that it was done wrong and could not be used. We had paid them over $40,000 and requested our money back. They refused. No usable product was ever delivered and most of their people quit working on the project and we weren't notified.

No one should hire this company for any kind of development work. It is a scam.

There was absolutely nothing impressive about this company except their ability to cover up their poor work results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

This company is so corrupt in its practices, I believe it should be banned from offering services.

We had developed a computer vision solution to make offline shopper interactions interactive within the retail stores while capturing shopper behaviour and movements within the store.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We reached out to some of the top vendors we had come across in a IT fair in Bangalore. We gave them the scope and requested a PoC before proceeding with the project and Jointworks was able to successfully do this in the shortest period.

Our requirement was for a computer vision based object segmentation/recognition from which a retail interaction could be derived. The first interaction was “Smile” and earn a reward from the interaction. Jointworks first provided a PoC to prove this was achievable with a low hardware processing unit and basic Logitech camera. Post this they were working on weekly sprints showing the improvement on the success rate of the interaction. This project was completed before time as they had an inhouse team of ML engineers and extensive hardware for rigorous testing.

Aseem Saxena was the main Point of contact as the project manager. We did interact during presentations with the engineers and testers but that was limited.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It was a great experience to have the project visualized easily and the project managed well so we could complete it on time. The incremental method of deliveries ensured demos for us and our clients making sure expectations were maintained.

They worked on weekly sprints and mostly maintained detailed sheets of the progress reports.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to understand the concept and final deployment both from a business and technology sense. Ensuring their suggestions and inputs better helped us plan and execute over time better as compared to if they were just working as a tech team on a project. This is something I've seen is lacking across the board in most vendors.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Considering multiple of my interactions across projects with them I found they would also evolve with time and technologies. So I don’t have any specific complaints or didn’t find any specific areas of improvement in my opinion.

We were looking to outsource some work due to a lack of internal resources, so we turned to Jointworks.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jointworks worked on a few projects with us. For one, they developed a geographic information system (GIS). We provided the technical integration documents and all of the necessary information. Their team created the system from scratch, with Java as one of the main technologies used. Their UI/UX people also worked on the interface.

The system is integrated with a machine that indicates the level of air quality through green, yellow, or red lights. The application we built with Jointworks collects, analyzes, and maps air quality data for different areas, and this data can either be accessed online or displayed on a three-day forecast.

We worked with a team of roughly eight people. This included structure analysts, JavaScript developers, Java implementors, UI/UX designers, and an API integration specialist.

Jointworks was an asset to us. The collaboration between our internal team and theirs went smoothly. They cared about providing high-quality work, and we’ve not had any crashes in the system because their team fixed any bugs that were discovered.

They were extremely organized, always available, and quite responsive. They delivered on time, regardless of the challenges that made our timeline tight. They worked as long as it took just to finish tasks. We used Jira and Slack, and held weekly meetings.

I value the honesty and transparency that they showed during our engagement. They delivered on what they promised, and our experience working with them is superior to what we’ve experienced with other companies.

No, there’s nothing they could’ve done better.
