I sent Jamie at JIGSAW a 12 page PDF which describes the aims of the game I wanted to develop. At this stage it was purely on paper and a theoretical game that I wanted to develop.  Before approaching JIGSAW, a few other developers had told me it would take many more hours to create anything that would function and suggested the budget would be much higher.   Not only did JIGSAW read the 12 page document, but completely understood the aim of the game and was able to communicate extremely clearly (I have no tech background).  The app was delivered and worked perfectly in just 4 days, the week before Christmas.  When a small glitch occured, it was fixed in less than an hour. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was able to trial the app with 12 players several times immediately after it was delivered and it worked perfectly.   JIGSAW also foresaw many obstacles that I had not, and effectively solved them before they occured.  I am over the moon with the results and never thought this would be possible in such a short space of time.  I now have a fully functioning app in record time.

I was told it would take 6 hours and could be delivered in a week - It came in just 4 days, in budget. I am still really amazed and delighted with the outstanding result and professionalism.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

JIGSAW'S integrity and expertise are just outstanding. Jamie Taylor was able to explain creating an app to someone with literally no idea, keep within budget, offer so much encouragment and support and valuable advice that was way beyond the brief.  I am still really amazed with my luck in finding JIGSAW for this. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Jigsaw could have done differently?

Absolutely nothing at all! Apart from magically appear in front of my screen 10 years ago!

Build a marketplace with an inventory management system for theatre companies on one side and a discovery of theatrical resources and enquiry system to borrow or hire on the other side. 

Inventory upload via a photograph on smartphone with AI automatically tagging, naming, and describing the item, plus embedding in a vectorised database (pinecone). 

Semantic search via image or text to retrieve items via vectorised database.

They were very responsive and items were delivered on time. Additional items either added within road map, or discussed as out of scope and added to potential future project.
