BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I was Project Manager for an organisation running an online database of articles written by journalists. We wanted to set up a new social media platform specifically for our readers and new customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jet.Dev, and what were your goals?

Customizing of Drupal / OpenSource platform called OpenSocial. There was a lot of custom programming involved.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Online search for Drupal / OpenSocial specialists. Online interview with CEO and head programmer.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Implementing OpenSocial; adding a variety of modules, such as languages, workflow and others; lots of custom programming for specific functions we wanted to add to the core system.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I mostly worked with the head programmer, who in turn relied on several other employees. For fundamental questions we had online meetings including the CEO.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I was very happy with the work they did. They were very reliable, even under difficult situations. Despite the fact that war broke out in Ukraine in the middle of the project there were no meaningful interruptions, delays or other problems in our collaboration: I was very impressed by that!

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Very open, very communicative. Whenever problems arose, they were very proactive and contacted me early to offer solutions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their open communication style. Their proactive attitude.
