We are a skincare brand and I am in charge of the Chinese market.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jamontu-Dipintime, and what were your goals?

We need to adapt our original marketing strategy in Chinese Market. And a person who can help our local online distribution to apply the guideline correctly.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The team understand well both French market and Chinese market. Very efficient at communication with multiple entities, the brand, the online distributors in China, our Chinese branches, even the agencies in China. So when we need something to be adapted for the Chinese market, No matter visual content, copyrighting, or just giving briefs, they can well handle. We do not need to add more intermediates.

We went through our brand philosophy and materials, after several discussion we came up an adapted strategy plan for Chinese Market. On the subject of social media, we decided together to address our effort on Little Red Book as we are a small and relatively new brand with limited budget. Dipintime team helped us to convey the brand strategy to our Online distributor, control the quality of product page. Till now, we had the Tmall store running already a year. The first year the distributor reached 85% of our online objective, under the Zero Covid politic in China.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We work with the account manager who is working with us for the brand strategy adaptation, and social media marketer and content marketer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our little Red book had a structured and clearer editorial guideline. Following the guide, the followers starts to grow in real. We launched the Little red book account in 2019, there were less than 300 followers, and didn't grow. And now, we had nearly 2000 followers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Quite smooth, emails, online meetings, WeChat Calls. Things were well organised.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their small company saw things on a global scale. The account manager is the marketing expert as well, not only a person for coordination, I appreciated that.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could have let us know in the beginning that they can also help us to casting KOLs in China. Of course, we had team in China, we did it ourselves.
