I’m the founder and CEO of New England Connect LLC (NE6), a consulting and professional services studio that helps businesses turn complex ideas into actionable strategies, systems, and scalable processes. We offer services in business strategy, branding, digital marketing, technology, and operations.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Iweb Next to accomplish for New England Connect LLC?

I hired Iweb Next to design and deliver a custom website for New England Connect LLC, including initial design concepts/layouts, structured page planning, and a completed working site within the agreed short turnaround timeframe. After that project failed, the objective shifted to having them plan, set up, and manage a targeted social media campaign to drive qualified traffic to a specific service page.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope of work initially included a full website redesign project. This was supposed to involve reviewing the existing site, understanding the business and goals, creating design concepts and layout direction, and then building a complete, functional website using WordPress/Divi. The expected deliverables were a fully redesigned site, structured page layouts, improved user experience, and a production-ready website delivered within a short turnaround timeframe. After the website project was not completed, the scope was revised to a social media campaign. That revised scope included planning, setting up, and managing a paid campaign focused on a specific service offering, creating ad creatives and messaging, applying a defined portion of the funds to ad spend, and delivering traffic and basic reporting on campaign performance.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There were no measurable outcomes that demonstrated progress or success. The website project was not completed, and the social media campaign was never executed, so there were no deliverables, performance metrics, traffic results, or reporting provided.There were some preliminary materials shared for the website project, primarily template-based examples, but they did not reflect the agreed approach or provide a usable foundation for the project. Beyond that, there were no meaningful drafts or structured deliverables that could be evaluated.For the social media campaign, no preliminary work was provided that could be evaluated. The campaign was never set up or launched, and no creatives, campaign structure, or test results were delivered.

How did Iweb Next perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was inconsistent and lacked clear structure. Communication was often delayed or reactive, and expectations had to be repeated multiple times. There was no clear project plan, milestone tracking, or structured updates that demonstrated organized progress.They did not deliver on time. The original website project had a short agreed turnaround timeframe, but that timeline was not met, and the project was never completed. The follow-up social media campaign was also not delivered at all.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

There was very little that stood out as positive in my experience. Initially, they were responsive during the early sales and onboarding phase, which gave the impression that the project would move quickly. However, that level of responsiveness and clarity did not continue once the project began, and it did not translate into actual delivery or execution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have significantly improved in a few key areas. First, they needed to follow through on the agreed scope of work instead of shifting direction after the project began. The original website project should have followed a proper design process and been completed within the agreed timeframe.Second, communication and project management needed to be more structured. Clear milestones, consistent updates, and accountability for timelines would have made a major difference. Most importantly, they needed to follow standard industry practices for account access and security. Requesting direct usernames and passwords, and treating that as a requirement to proceed, is not appropriate. They should have used proper permission-based access methods that align with platform terms of service and basic security expectations. Finally, when it became clear the original project was not going to be completed, they should have either issued a refund or properly executed the alternative service that was agreed upon, instead of adding new requirements and refusing to move forward.
