I'm COO/CEO in the Orbital scientific e-journal. The Orbital is an Open Access peer-reviewed journal to distribute scientific information in the field of natural sciences.

As a peer-reviewed journal we work with lots of scientific texts. We often had to spend additional time editing different versions of reviewed publications. So we had to find an application that could help to compare texts containing chemical formulas.

First we discussed our problem that was to compare numerous versions of text containing chemical formulas with manager. Than some complex examples of articles were studied in details. Developers proposed a solution for the text application and realized the idea in 2 months. Then we had 1 moth of a test period and accepted new soft.

There were 3 people from the company, 2 developers and project manager.

We were happy to save our time working with text containing a lot of formulas of compounds.

We communicated via Skype and all the deadlines were always met. Very positive imressions have last.

Their idea generation and awareness to solve non-routine tasks were impessive.

Areas for improvement always exists. Currently we are satisfied with results and everything is OK.

They developed most of our features including transcoding, reviews, playback, storing, AWS structure. They used Electron framework/Javascript/CSS3/HTML5 / PHP.

We worked closely with Vitaly who coordinates his team. Communication is super easy.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They did develop and implement all the features we needed. In 6 months time, we've been able to fully demonstrate our application. They also suggested a few solutions that worked brilliantly. We've all been impressed by their dedication and speed maintaining a high attention to the details.

Super easy to communicate with. We used Slack but they are also always available for phone and video calls. Always on-time.

They are very very fast, precise, and committed.

I’m the CTO of SpotRates, an all-in-one platform for air cargo rates and spot quotes. We provide airlines and freight forwarders with a comprehensive solution to manage air cargo pricing. Our solution is also a digital marketplace for global shippers.

We hired OporaSolutions to develop the MVP of our solution from the ground up. The tech stack would include PHP, CCS3, and Laravel and use an AWS infrastructure.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create an MVP that we could then showcase to our customers and investors.

We’d already completed successful projects with OporaSolutions, so we chose to partner with them again.

We provided them with initial documentation, including the UX designs, database schema, and wireframes. OporaSolutions was responsible for designing and developing the web app (back- and frontend) using the latest technologies.

What was the team composition?

I served as the team coordinator for their developers. We also had input from additional professionals—including a UX designer, a product manager, and security experts—to ensure that the developers adhered to our specs.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They developed the project on time, which allowed us to showcase it to various investors and customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was excellent. With just a few given clarifications, they were able to develop the solution without any missteps or architectural faults. We typically communicate via Skype and email.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very responsive, and it was a pleasure to talk to them. Communication was an important part of this project because they needed to convey complex ideas to some of our non-technical team members.

I’m the manager of Gardenbook, a company that specializes in making photo books, printing paintings on canvas, and photographs through an online service.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire ITPenthouse to accomplish for your business?

We hired ITPenthouse for the creation and setup of an online photo book constructor. We also needed website configuration for ordering books, including payment and delivery methods. In addition, we needed them to perform periodic technical maintenance of our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ITPenthouse specialists carried out a significant amount of work for our project. In particular, they corrected discrepancies in the technical dimensions and color profiles of files generated by the online layout tool. They also corrected incorrect transfers of various source images into the final layout. In addition, they optimized the speed and convenience of the resource for users. They also configured the interaction of the resource for creating layouts with the website where they can be ordered.The main result of our cooperation was the complete integration of the program for creating photo book layouts online and the main site for ordering photo books. ITPenthouse also set up this site for full-fledged online commerce.

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, were close to my geographic location, offered good value for the cost, and had company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March 2025 to February 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

At this time, it’s difficult for me to assess the impact of the project since we’ve only completed the technical part of the project. We haven’t conducted the marketing campaign yet. However, the website’s performance characteristics have improved significantly. The site runs about 30%–50% faster than before. All the errors we found during testing have been fixed.

How did ITPenthouse perform from a project management standpoint?

ITPenthouse completed the project according to our agreement. We communicated via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was very convenient for us to communicate with ITPenthouse. The team completed tasks within clearly defined deadlines, and, from their side, there were no delays. They also offered us a convenient payment option.
