I’m the sole director of an independent consulting firm that focuses on delivering regulatory, technology, and change projects in the financial services sector.

For what projects/services did your company hire ITlorist Technologies PVT LTD?

We needed to develop an automated mechanism that would register our consultants’ on-site attendance at the various companies we work with. Because our consultants can be at different sites at different times, we needed to develop a mobile app.

What were your goals for this project?

The automated solution had to capture all of the data we gathered through our existing manual process. We also wanted to reduce manual data keying for our consultants through automated field population, where possible.

A former consulting partner recommended them to us. We felt ITlorist Technologies was the right partner after doing our due diligence, which involved several interview sessions.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They designed, developed, tested, and launched our mobile app. The design phase incorporated a series of workshops, which resulted in documented requirements, business outcomes, and app designs. They facilitated regular “show and tells” during development and provided us a final version of the app to test. We discussed our feedback with them, and they proceeded to resolve all the issues we identified. The app itself utilizes mobile GPS technology that can recognize office locations through coordinates.

What was the team composition?

The project team had a pool of 10 resources, with the primary contacts being the client lead and project manager. Throughout development, we engaged with business analysts, developers, and testers for clarifications, though those interactions were kept to a minimum.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The app significantly reduced our manual admin efforts related to monitoring consultant attendance. Specifically, automated data collection improved analytics, which also supports billing reconciliation efforts.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was excellent. They met deadlines regularly and communicated in advance if they saw any curve balls coming. We worked through the client lead, who kept us informed of the development team's progress. They delivered the project on time and budget.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their constant communication during delivery was critical to the final product meeting our expectations. If they ever fell short on a specific requirement, we discussed it in the moment, and they made the necessary adjustments.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We don’t have too much experience, but they managed the project well. All projects face challenges, but ITlorist handled them competently and professionally.
