The team always provided excellent solutions to the web projects as required, allowing the company to offer flexible deliverables to their customers. They track their work well and have grown as a company over the years, while continuing to provide effective services.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a German performance marketing agency focused on SEO and paid ads. We also make web design solutions based on WordPress. I’m the founder.
What challenge were you trying to address with ItDesk?
We needed technical solutions. We’ve worked with them on multiple projects across 4–5 years.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ItDesk created custom solutions for my customers’ websites. They created a hair test for one of our customers, a supplier for the cosmetics industry, using PHP for the development. Based on the results of the test, the site displays matching products.
What is the team composition?
I usually work with a project manager and 1–3 specialists from their team. I’m also in touch with their CEO. We’ve known each other for a long time, so I contacted him before starting a project.
How did you come to work with ItDesk?
We were specifically looking for developers with PHP and WordPress experience. ItDesk had been involved with a customer’s project before I joined it, so when that customer asked us for help with SEO, we met the ItDesk team. The collaboration worked, so I asked them for help on further projects.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them 4–5 years ago. We have some ideas in the works, but there are no active projects at the moment.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
ItDesk has allowed us to be more flexible when our customers have technical issues. We can now offer a wider breadth of services.
How did ItDesk perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re a professional team, and I like their performance. They have a tracking system in place, and we use Skype and email for communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s impressive how they’ve grown throughout the years I’ve known them, becoming bigger and more professional. I don’t know many Polish companies at the same level.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m not sure how their service is for ads in foreign languages. In my opinion, this is a difficult service to offer, but they do and are growing in this area.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’ve met other companies from different countries, with similar services to ItDesk. They’re among the more professional ones, so I don’t know what advice is needed.
Communication is the basic necessity, and it’s important to have clear descriptions and good briefings. All tasks should be described well so that the programmer can see what’s required. If the main issues are explained well, then they will do a good job.

I’m the CEO of Turck Poland. We provide more than 15,000 sensor, interface, connectivity, and Fieldbus technology products, as well as HMI/PLC solutions (human-machine interface/programmable logic controller) and radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems.
For what projects/services did your company hire ItDesk ?
We hired ItDesk for a variety of projects centered around three main services. This included creating a B2B platform and integrating it into our ERP system; developing multiple iOS/Android apps such as an RFID reader writer; and supporting our digital marketing strategies.
What were your goals for this project?
Our initial goal was to build a B2B platform. We wanted to provide our customers with a centralized place where they can place orders and view finances. The system needed to be integrated with our ERP system in addition to having a good look and feel.
How did you select this vendor?
Considering the complexity of the project, I was looking for a company that had strong skills in a variety of different areas in order to build our website. We required a team of backend developers with database experience and frontend developers with design experience. We also needed technical resources that had proven experience in developing great iOS and Android apps. Out of all the candidates, ItDesk had it all.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Initially, ItDesk created a B2B platform that allowed our customers to purchase our products. They created the architecture and planned the project before developing the complete solution. Next, they integrated the platform with our ERP system, giving our customers access to our inventory, orders, and invoices.
In terms of mobile app development, one of the key projects they worked on was an RFID reader writer app that integrated with our Windows Networking. The software enabled customers to automatically gather data from their equipment via RFID tags and process it in their own ERP systems. The team also built an app for our website as well as a mobile game.
We now work with ItDesk to execute our digital marketing. They’re responsible for developing the strategy in addition to creating and modifying our websites. We cooperate to build out the accompanying landing pages and web apps.
What was the team composition?
Over the course of the engagement, we’ve worked with about 20 resources, including developers, administrators, and project managers. The B2B platform alone involved three developers, a graphic designer, and UX specialist.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We measure their success by checking if they’ve done the work properly and if they’ve delivered on time. So far, they’ve met all of our initial requirements.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We have an easy, comfortable relationship with the project manager. During our discussions about potential features, he and his team would help with some of the ideas. They share weekly reports with us, and there have been no issues with communication.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their prices are good, and it’s easy to work with them. Whenever I need to speak to the developers, they’re always available and willing to share information about their tasks.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, I can’t think of anything. They’ve met my expectations, and I’m happy with them.
