IT Magnet Pty Ltd

IT Magnet is a Sydney technology consultancy with its own software development team in Sydney, building software since 2002. We delivered an AI risk scanning tool for the Department of Finance that makes risk scanning faster. We help small businesses, mid-size companies, large corporations and government find where time and money are being lost, then fix it with custom software development, practical AI, automation and integration, from a small tool that removes one painful task to a large-scale system running a whole operation.

We can build a new system or work alongside what you already have, connecting your tools and automating the handovers between them, with or without AI agents. Examples include an AI assistant that reads supplier invoices and posts them to your accounts, a quoting tool that turns customer emails and photos into a draft price, a knowledge assistant that answers staff questions from your policies and manuals, and live equipment and GPS data flowing straight into your reporting. Most clients start with one area, cut the manual work there, then scale from there.

We are a member of state and federal government panels, including as an Advanced Supplier on the NSW Government ICT Services Scheme (SCM0020), and an approved supplier to Defence. We deliver with the ACSC Essential Eight in mind.

Government clients include the Department of Defence, the Department of Finance and the Australian Public Service Commission. Private sector clients include Qantas, Telstra and Nestle, and our equipment tracking has been used by BHP, Rio Tinto and FMG for many years. Defence, Community Legal Centres Australia and Onsite Rental Group have each been clients for ten years or more. For Community Legal Centres Australia we ran the project end to end, from interviewing users in every state to building, deploying and supporting their national practice management system.

IT Magnet is also a Supply Nation certified business.
