The Ishango.ai team successfully developed a machine learning-based model that predicts Bridging Gaps’ microloan repayment rates with 92% accuracy. They also created a Power BI dashboard that effectively showcases data and predictions from a public dataset. These efforts will impact Bridging Gap's work by saving them valuable time and enabling them to make data-driven decisions to better support the entrepreneurs they work with.

We participated in a hackathon with Ishango, where they demonstrated strong organizational skills and clear communication. Despite the short timeframe, they were very responsive to our needs and proactive in coordinating the project both before and after the event. Everything was delivered on time.

We assign Jira tickets and the team has been good about pushing code and closing tickets, while meeting our standards for quality.

We manage the project ourselves and Ishango augments our internal team.  They participate in all team meetings and are assigned tasks the same as other team members.  They've been fully integrated and very responsive to close out deliverables on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We aligned with their cultural mission to find talent in parts of the world where people aren't always given the opportunities to shine.  Ishango provides the talent and we provide those opportunities.  They have never missed the mark with their talent pipeline and have been quick to replace team members who have gone on to other endeavors.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ishango.ai could have done differently?

Don't think so.  We've been very pleased.
