Iona grew up in the most southern state of Australia, Tasmania. After traveling around Australia for a few years, Iona settled in Darwin where she started building her accounting career gaining knowledge of the real estate, retail & farming industries. In 2009, Iona & her family moved to Townsville where they have settled in very well. For close to 7 years Iona worked as the financial controller / internal accountant for a local family-owned company where she gained extensive knowledge of the building & construction, mining & transport industries. Not one to rest on her laurels, she constantly challenges herself in extending and growing her knowledge with a goal of providing end to end innovative accounting and bookkeeping solutions to fast-paced businesses and loyal clients.
