Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO of games studio in Cracow. We are developing games for the PC platform.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Investimetric.io, and what were your goals?

The project that we've hired Investimetric for was a web gallery for creations from the Model Builder game. Our goal was to enable social media integration (Metaverse in particular) for players to share screens from the game. Additional web backend that stored, secured and provided public links for images turned out to be necessary to implement this feature.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a local, experienced, and open-minded software house that would understand the specifics of the gaming industry. Investimetric came with high recommendations.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Initially, we assumed that we needed just independent service. Investimetric prepared for us a simple PoC project, showing how it looks and works. Afterward, we got recommendations with all the tech stack, including all the tech frameworks, tools, and adjustments to our initial idea. After accepting the final solution, Investimetric implemented and delivered their work accordingly.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Two backend developers were assigned to our project. They were led by a tech lead, who contacted us on a daily basis.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Model Builder came out as a great success. The web service developed by Investimetric was an important addition to the game, which usage by players turned out to be above our initial expectations. Working with Investimetric devs was a pleasure - they are a very experienced team. We're still in touch for small adjustments to the service.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Investimetric quickly adjusted to the tools and schedules that Moonlit uses internally. Management turned out to be very flexible and accommodated us on many levels. Devs that we've had contact with were very responsive, but overall communications was managed by the Tech Lead, which greatly improved overall performance.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We've found exactly what we have looked for - an agile and effective company that wouldn't be afraid to make very innovative projects (social media integration for Steam games). Investimetric proved their competence and effectiveness by developing exactly what was needed, within budget, and while keeping the schedule.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. They were a perfect fit for us.
