The company commenced operations in 1988 with a focus on international markets and emphasis on business in Asia.   Today, Intercedent offices are maintained in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and Toronto.

Since commencing operations in Beijing, Intercedent has participated actively in the economic transformation which has taken place in China. In particular, we have provided investment, corporate advisory and capital raising services to a broad range of Fortune 500 companies, small medium enterprises, private companies and government agencies (Our Services). The principals, John Gruetzner and Alan Reid, have lived and worked in China since the mid 1980s and during this time have accumulated extensive management, business development and investment experience while also having participated as investors and management in a number of start-up companies. Given our tenure and personnel in China, Intercedent can cut through the clutter and provide clients with succinct recommendations based on research and market experience. Intercedent actively sets out to build the internal and external resources and teams both inside and outside of China required for our clients to be successful.
