Intention Collective works with our Leadership Team on strategy development and execution, talent development, employee engagement, and leadership coaching. 

Through quarterly facilitated planning sessions, they help us establish a plan and then they facilitate weekly meetings to ensure the Leadership Team is making progress towards those plans. 

Additionally, they've helped us define our hiring process, incorporated a new skills assessment test, and provide the resources to help us screen candidates. 

Intention Collective has also helped us define a baseline for employee engagement through a survey and identify areas for improvement so we can continue to increase our employee engagement over time.

Intention Collective has always been highly responsive. Commitments are held to, deliverables are on time, and they're available for the (inevitable) ad hoc needs that arise.

Intention Collective structures its partnerships in a way that they can adjust to our changing needs. Certain quarters, we have have a strong focus on redefining our processes, other times we may need hands on deck to screen potential candidates. 

They're able to tailor their resources and focus to our needs - and as a small business, those needs are almost certain to change over time. Sometimes in ways we can predict, sometimes in ways we cannot predict. The flexibility and deep expertise have been invaluable to our agency.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Intention Collective could have done differently?

No - every time we've had a request to change/improve, Intention Collective has shifted. There's nothing new at this point that I would change.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We see progress and success in many different ways. We see it through completed tasks or through consulting on a specific HR issue where we benefit from the depth of experience on the Intention Collective team. Most of all we experience it through the feedback we receive from our team when they finish a workshop or complete a coaching session. The return is obvious based on how our team as a whole thinks and acts different. 
We’ve spent years focused on establishing a culture that embodies our core values and creates an opportunity for each individual to grow. The Intention Collective elevates our continued commitment. They bring expertise and a shared belief in self-awareness that gives everyone on our team the opportunity to continue growing into the best version of themselves.

Two full-day sessions focused on identifying and developing the firm's core focus and values, strategic planning to foster and pursue our focus and values, leadership team development, and marketing strategy.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Zach and his team came prepared with an agenda that created measurable outcomes, including identifying and clarifying our firm values, crystalizing our mission, and lasering in on our key economic drivers. We then moved to creating a plan that would deliberately and methodically move us toward our goals, creating organizational habits that advance our objectives and discarding those that create a headwind. 

We left with a much better understanding of who we are as a firm, where we want to go, and what we need to do to get there. Critically, we left with a concrete plan and tools to keep this momentum going. Three months later, we have a clearer direction, clearer assignments, and improved accountability. We're not there yet, but we are moving in the right direction and having fun doing it.

We had a lot to cover, but Zach and Courtney had a plan, kept us focused, and kept us moving. We never gave short shrift to a topic, but we did stay on track. We left both days rating the session 4/4.

Zach and Courtney won't settle for superficial answers or phoning it in. If they think you haven't gone deep enough or there is more to it, they will call you on it. But at the same time, it's all from a place of positivity. And there is a lot of laughter.

The Intention Collective facilitated the Dare to Lead training with the leadership team at New Hope Academy. This was a three-day intensive training assisting our team as we navigated through a transitional period for our school. 

We worked through several concepts: rumbling with vulnerability; speaking truth and understanding that clear is kind and unclear is unkind; understanding daring leadership vs armored leadership; who's in the arena; TASC (the accountability and success checklist); emotions and values; and the story I'm telling myself. The training was certainly well worth the time spent. 

We all walked away understanding on another more than we did the first day and having more empathy for one another. We are 100% in a better position to lead and serve than where we were before we participated in the training. We have tools and language to use when we disagree or when we need to have a courageous conversation. We work harder to understand and listen more these days. Our community is better because we were willing to put in the work with the Intention Collective.

We each wanted to serve each other and our families better.

Yes, the project management was great. Meeting with each leader individually before we met a group for the three days helped to facilitate great dialogue. We each were seen and heard. We felt the genuine care for our success.
