I’m the director of Communus, a business services company. We provide integrated digital services, including web development, video production, social media strategy, e-learning, e-commerce, UI/UX design, API integration, and performance optimization, to help organizations grow and succeed in a digital-first world.

What challenge were you trying to address with Intellect Information Technology?

We engaged Intellect Information Technology to strengthen our cybersecurity through proactive monitoring, threat protection, and improved overall security resilience.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Intellect Information Technology manages our cybersecurity, delivering continuous threat monitoring, deployment, and tuning of advanced security tools. The team also hardens our Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments, establishes backup and recovery protections, and implements ongoing vulnerability management and alert reporting.Moreover, Intellect Information Technology has implemented and managed several security platforms for us, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 security policies and protections, and Druva as the cloud-based backup and recovery solution, alongside ongoing vulnerability scanning and security monitoring.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Intellect Information Technology.

We found them through an online search. We chose them because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, fit our budget, and were referred to us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen clear improvements, including a higher Microsoft Secure Score, reduced vulnerabilities, faster incident response times, and reliable Druva backup and recovery performance.Moreover, we’ve had a few attempted phishing and malware events during the project, and Intellect Information Technology’s rapid detection and containment through Defender and Druva’s recovery checks have shown clear improvement in our overall security readiness.

How did Intellect Information Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Intellect Information Technology’s project management is clear, organized, and proactive. The team consistently delivers milestones on time and as agreed. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.
