Cancure cancer centre is a daycare facility serving cancer patients. We give systemic therapy in form of chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. I am partner in the firm.

We were looking for a branding which matches global standard

How did you select Instinct Design Studio?

Recommended by one of my collegue and we really liked work done by them so far

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

The process started with brainstorming for Nomenclature and voice of our brand where we and design team has worked together, once that was set they designed with the logo and stationary design, They also design brochure and helped in website with visual styleguide.

What was the team composition?

We directly worked with lead designer intinally and later on with a junior designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are really pleased with the designs they gave us and we got lot of praise for the logo they designed for us and also other graphic works.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They have responded quickly to my feedback and delivered everything as they had promised. They had understood our requirement quite well and transformed into design effectively.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with their creativity and professional approach. They always had effective solutions to offers

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a co-founder and the director of Oizom. We position ourselves in the environmental monitoring space. We utilize proprietary IoT technology to offer scalable air quality monitoring.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Instinct Design Studio?

My two co-founders and I come from a tech background, but we were searching for someone that could help us build our overall identity. We wanted someone that understood our business and could help us create a digital presence. We were targeting both the local and global markets.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

With Instinct Design Studio, we started off with the branding activity. They got involved in a lot of the initial research on our company, and they spent a lot of time understanding our product, the competition, and market positioning for five years into the future.

The first exercise was designing our company logo. They came into the picture one month after our company was registered when we only had a name in mind. They helped us create our branding identity, corporate presentation, and website design.

Part of this also included helping us set up a unique visual language, which eventually helped us replicate the same branding over different print media, the website, and company presentations.

They designed our website and the mobile app that customers use to check air quality remotely. They helped us with the overall wireframing and design research aspects of this work. The first website they made was in React, and our current one is built using WordPress. They developed the app for Android and iOS.

What is the team composition?

I was mainly in touch with Ketaki (UX Lead). Both her and Suchi (Lead Interaction Designer) were present at our meetings. I believe they’re the two founders of the company.

How did you come to work with Instinct Design Studio?

We wanted someone that could work closely with us. There are many firms in our city, which would typically have a design team and a coordinator working with us. We wanted one that could work remotely, as an independent agency, but could also act as a part of our team.

Their level of involvement in researching our company and the work they did to understand us was very important for us. Instinct Design Studio was the perfect agency for us. They weren’t very big, and they were very efficient. We started a conversation, and we just clicked.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost was $7,000–$8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Instinct Design Studio between January 2017–March 2019. There are many more conversations in place, and we’re looking forward to working with them again on our IoT platform.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The first question they asked us when we started was where we saw ourselves in five years. Three and a half years later, their branding has helped take our company in the direction we envisioned. They did a fantastic job, overall. Their work has given us a good amount of push and market reach.

How did Instinct Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Most of the communication between our teams was over email and Slack. We had frequent meetings over video calls and in-person for updates and brainstorming. The interaction was really easy, and it helped us get good output from them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The personalized input that they gave to each project was most impressive. That’s what we experienced, and that was what separated Instinct Design Studio from most design agencies. We never felt like we were working with an agency, and we always considered them our design partner — that helped us build our confidence in them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no negative points in mind at this time.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Instinct Design Studio is a good choice for small companies with products or solutions that require good UI/UX.
