We are a design studio that focuses on user experience and user interface (UX and UI). We have an in-house development team. However, we involve software development partners when our capacity is not enough for bigger projects.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

We were about to start working on a challenging project for an American financial company. As a design studio, we needed a reliable partner to implement our work on a web application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, our team worked on the UX and UI part. After receiving project documentation and design materials from our team, INOXOFT ran a full software development cycle. INOXOFT assigned two engineers and a project manager to our project. They developed the frontend and backend of the app. The backend was built using Microsoft Stack on a .NET framework — C#, ASP.NET MVC WebAPI. They used AngularJS with HTML5/CSS3 for the frontend.

We were familiar with some of INOXOFT’s projects. Their technology stack and business processes met our client’s expectations.

We paid less than $50,000 for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

They started working on the app in May 2016, and the project was completed in September 2016.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our key criteria for choosing a software development services provider was the ability to deliver a massive project within the agreed deadline. INOXOFT did a great job of meeting our expectations.

INOXOFT’s team collaborated closely with our design team to create a great product. We can say for sure that the final app helped our client reduce application processing time and automate routine operations.

How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

Iryna, the project manager, was our main point of contact. She did a great job taking care of everything, making sure our preferences and requirements were taken into account.

INOXOFT used JIRA for project management. Based on our client’s preferences, we communicated via tools such as Skype and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about INOXOFT?

Unlike big, bureaucratic companies, INOXOFT was very flexible — they were always there to listen and offer solutions. We could tell that they really cared about the projects they were working on. It was a pleasure working with them.

I am the founder and product manager of a creative design and branding agency working with clients from around the world, but mainly with local companies in Ukraine and Europe. We handle web and marketing projects and build digital products like websites, web apps, and so on.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

We have a variety of clients with different needs. We had some web projects for retail businesses and another one in the healthcare industry. In addition, we needed help building mobile media solutions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have worked with INOXOFT on three different web projects and a mobile one. They were responsible for all technical, implementation, and design-related tasks. Our agency provided some user interface and general design elements and worked as a project lead with INOXOFT’s team in order to implement those functionalities.

AngularJS was the main technology on the frontend. On the mobile side, we have developed native Android and iOS apps.

We have worked with a project manager from INOXOFT’s team, and also had a few chats with their developers. I served as the main contact from our agency.

I received some positive recommendations from colleagues during a conference and met INOXOFT’s team. We met after the conference, and a month later, we started our first project.

We had tried working with other developers but hadn’t been successful due to bad management systems. INOXOFT’s project management is the main reason for wanting to work with them in the future.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with INOXOFT in January 2016. We plan to start a new project with them in August 2017.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our projects with INOXOFT have been delivered within budget and on time. They have been responsive and always listen to our feedback. It was not uncommon for them to fix 10 or more bugs in less than 24 hours. In addition, we received all the documentation and reports which we then delivered to our client, and there were no issues in terms of statistics and feedback. Our client was satisfied with the results — it was a successful project for both of us.

How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

We tried to work with another company, but have maintained the relationship with INOXOFT because of their good management system. It’s important to have reliable partners, and that is what INOXOFT has been for us.

What did you find most impressive about INOXOFT?

They’re great people. It’s important to not only do the work but to also have good conversations and relationships in the office and outside of it. It’s been a pleasure to work with people who have the same ideas and values in terms of what should be delivered to the customer.

Are there any areas INOXOFT could improve?

I don’t have enough experience with alternate approaches to development, but I believe that INOXOFT does it in the right way.

I am the founder of a small claims services company based in New York. Our target market is pro se litigants who seek to engage a service to handle their small claim and track it through a mobile application. SoSueMe streamlines the small claims process through a user-friendly and transparent service. Our consumer uses the iOS mobile application I am reviewing.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

We contacted INOXOFT to develop and design an iOS mobile application for us. The application would provide a fast and easy way to file a small claim and contact a lawyer.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INOXOFT focused on the mobile app development. They also helped with the backend part, which was based on Firebase. They used Swift for iOS and AngularJS for the frontend. There were two developers involved.

How much have you invested with INOXOFT?

The cost of the project was less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with INOXOFT began in February 2017, and our partnership with them is still ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The app has just recently been released, so we don't have any specific metrics just yet. However, it has received tremendous positive feedback. The solution was well-designed and created with great precision using exact specifications. I'm confident in the results because INOXOFT provided great value.

Their management skills are on a high level.

They put in a lot of value to guarantee the resulting product will be the best it can be. The team at INOXOFT is very results-oriented. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I am the founder and product owner of an app that’s a music player for cloud services.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

We have an application on the App Store. We wanted to build a similar app for the Android platform, and I needed it done in a reasonably fast way. What was more important was that I needed a high-quality job done so that I don’t have to spend a lot of time on maintenance and fixes later down the road.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INOXOFT has done the development and QA work. I hired the UX designer to build the graphics. They basically built the user interface from the assets and mockups I gave them. They built the backend and database as well. It was a full application. The language used was Java on the Android platform with Android Studio as a tool. 

How did you come to work with INOXOFT?

It was through a personal referral. When I spoke to them in the first two meetings, I realized they really wanted to do this project. They were excited to start, so that was a big plus to choose and start working with them.

How much have you invested with INOXOFT?

We have invested $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them January 2016. The project was completed in August 2016.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the product, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The app is on the Google Play Store which is already a success. It's a completed project from the point of view of the developers—it's live and people are using it. The biggest success for me was that the quality of the work was very good. I measured the amount of crashes and errors users got. Only 2% of sessions had crashes, which is a good indicator of app stability, especially for the Android platform. Having 98% crash-free sessions is a good sign.

How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

They were really good in planning the work and building it in phases. We split the project into several milestones and tracked that. I liked that approach, and it worked well. They also were good in keeping to the timelines. If they saw that they couldn’t make a deadline, they let me know so I was aware of any potential issues that could impact the schedule.

What did you find most impressive about INOXOFT?

It was two things that impressed me the most. First, it was the quality of the work they did. I was impressed that the first version of the app was stable. That's quite a good result since you rarely find such a stable app. Second, it was the communication with them and their responsiveness. If something needed changing on the fly or if I had any issues with my environment when I wanted to try to build the app by myself, they instantly helped by providing instructions, which was great.

Are there any areas INOXOFT could improve?

I don't have anything specific in mind. I was happy working with them, especially with Maksym Trostyanchuk, their co-founder. I continue working with them to support the product and add more features into it. I don't see what needs changing in our collaboration.

I am the owner of Gazik, an e-commerce website based in Ukraine. We specialize in selling network equipment and network solar stations. We provide customers with Wi-Fi routers and equipment as well as fully functional network solar stations.

I was looking for software developers who could help us develop a web portal and mobile apps. We wanted a company that could create great web design as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

INOXOFT worked on a web portal for our inventory management system. It’s intended to keep track of all the products that we provide for our customers. They also developed mobile applications for Android and iOS so customers could order from their mobile devices. We are planning the next release for the website and mobile applications. This will happen next year.

My colleagues recommended that I contact INOXOFT. They were a bit expensive, but the results are worth it.

So far we’ve spent $80,000 with INOXOFT.  For the quality of work we receive, the price is reasonable.

All of our metrics are trending up. The feedback is that it’s easier to navigate through the website. The site is completely functional and if we find any bugs, those are resolved extremely fast.

They have great project management. We had a single point of contact and they worked diligently. We communicated on a daily basis with the project manager and he was also working with us in our office for a month. Sometimes, we have changes we want to make and they adapt very well.

They are a trusted business partner and I’m more than satisfied with their performance. INOXOFT participated in creating a vision and goals for the company.

None. Any issues are solved immediately and we have no regrets working with them.

We started working with INOXOFT in the middle of 2014. Right now, our projects have been completed but they’ve also asked for support from us regarding design. So we have a few ongoing projects that we will collaborate on with them.

The clients have been very satisfied. There’s been nothing negative from our clients. I was really comfortable working with them.

No. Their work was good for me and my clients.

SiTime Company is in the electronics business. We do microchips with oscillators. We’re headquartered in California and have an office in Ukraine. I’m the company manager of the Ukrainian branch.

We used INOXOFT to develop some software projects and website applications.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have a lot of part numbers for our chips and INOXOFT developed part number generators and selectors to make it easier for our customers to identify what they need. Our chips are programmable, and all the components to program them were done by INOXOFT. The website is on PHP and they also included JavaScript. For the programming of the chips they used .NET.

How did you come to work with INOXOFT?

I found them through recommendations of colleagues.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our relationship started 3 years ago and we’re still working with them doing modifications and upgrades.

They are a very professional team and easy to work with. With any problems we had, they solved them quickly. I’ve been very happy.

Now that the product is released, there are some changes that need to be made and they always help me with that. Other vendors I’ve worked with won’t do that. They’re very responsive, willing to help, and very honest.

There’s always room to improve but I can’t think of anything.

I’ve worked with INOXOFT on two projects with two separate legal entities. The first project was for an online platform designed to offer users the opportunity to purchase tickets to win a prize competition. It was designed around UK gamers in compliance with the appropriate regulations, giving users the opportunity to win prizes. The most recent project was for an herbal tea business that supplies different teas and herbs from around the world.

I am a joint-founder and I head the operational division of the companies.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

I'll focus on our prize competition platform. The key challenge that we approached INOXOFT with was designing a specific game of skill and then building the platform on the back of that game.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The gaming regulations in the UK are very specific in defining what constitutes gambling. We wanted our business to be designed around the non-gambling definition of competition. We took that regulation and built it into our platform, which effectively meant we had to build a game of skill into our platform so that only users that have passed the initial game are able to enter a raffle to win the prize. INOXOFT designed the website using WordPress and adapted the front-end technology.

How did you come to work with INOXOFT?

I used Upwork. After reading their application, viewing their profile, and looking at some of their historic work and reviews, I invited INOXOFT to apply with some other candidates as well. Then, I went through quite a robust interview process through Skype and I eventually whittled it down to INOXOFT. I chose to use them based on the feedback that they had received from other people on Upwork and from conversations I had with them at the interview stage.

How much have you invested with INOXOFT?

We have spent between $60,000 and $70,000 so far. The new project is likely to double that figure at least; it's quite a big project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began this project in November 2015 and completed it in August 2016. Our engagement is ongoing as I'm always looking for new projects to send to them.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our initial objective was to establish a platform that was compliant in the UK. Before we started building things with INOXOFT, we were struggling to get access to PayPal and various other payment providers. After having built and launched the platform with INOXOFT, we’ve had our access to PayPal confirmed and our platform has been approved on the legal side so that it now meets the UK requirements. In terms of the actual product development, our key objectives were achieved.

How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?       

They are a very well organized team. I had one main contact who managed the project from my side. The whole process worked very efficiently. I can be difficult to reach during normal business hours, so a lot of our project was dealt with in the evenings or on weekends. Fortunately, they’re based in a relatively similar time zone, but even so, they were more than willing to fix any bugs when it was urgent. One of the key reasons I’ve used them for so long is because of their flexibility and their speed. I’ve seen them turn around bugs within 24 hours, which I felt was very impressive.

What did you find most impressive about INOXOFT?

The key thing is their flexibility. Other developers that I've worked with haven't been as willing to work the hours that these guys have to turn the project around. They are very keen to actually make sure that their customer is happy with the end result, even doing things outside of the agreed budget without charging extra. They were more than happy to onboard any feedback I gave them and make any changes I wanted, which is one of INOXOFT’s key benefits.

Are there any areas INOXOFT could improve?

The process of collaborating with them worked pretty well. It's hard to think of anything that might need to be changed. Obviously, at the early stages it took a bit of time to build that relationship, but other than that, I'm very happy with where we are. That's why I've used them for so long.

We're a startup. We're building a line of software for a specific business vertical. My role is Chief Technology Officer and founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

We have a team of four buyers trying to build a startup, and our challenge is that we don't have enough people with technical expertise. INOXOFT helps to provide the technical resources that we need to get the startup off the ground.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INOXOFT has been helping us build our web application. It’s hosted on Microsoft, so it’s a cloud-based application. It uses Telerik controls for the front end and AngularJS for the client side technology. We're using ASP [Active Server Page] and MVC [Model-View-Controller] for the backend technology. We're about 40% of the way through now in getting it to market. We've brought our first modules to market, but we're looking at building five modules as a part of the product.

How did you come to work with INOXOFT?

We found them through Upwork, the outsourcing product where you can find freelancers. I was initially looking for someone with really strong technical skills. That's when I found INOXOFT.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with INOXOFT from August of 2015 to present day.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

One of the modules that we've released has gone live and has been well adopted so far by our client. We’re looking to release a second module very shortly. We’re about two-fifths of the way there because the product has five modules that we are looking to release.

How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

I found that their project management has been very good. INOXOFT helped bring in several processes for coordinating the team. We use Skype calls to coordinate and we do a lot of prototyping. They’re very independent. They know when to ask for feedback, and they also know how to innovate and think through a problem.  

What did you find most impressive about INOXOFT?

I’ve worked with several outsource providers. I think the thing that jumps out for me about INOXOFT is their commitment to the product and the outcome. A lot of providers have the good technical competency, but what makes INOXOFT distinct is their ability to pull together when things go wrong and work hard to produce good outcomes.

Are there any areas INOXOFT could improve?

There are always areas for improvement, but the organization is evolving. I think they're getting more mature in their processes, so there is nothing really that I can think of.

I'm a director of Jadore, a retail company in Ukraine. It's a clothing chain with brands from France and Italy. We have been in the market for around 15 years.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?

My main challenge was to grow and develop my company. We had a problem with collecting data about our goods in our stores. I needed a database where I could easily see how many goods I have, which brands I am lacking, and which brands are more likely to sell on the market. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INOXOFT helped me to organize my business by building an inner database software with a .NET technology. We have a UPC [universal product code] for our goods, and with this inner database, we now have access to see how our products are operating in the market. We also want to develop an online platform for our clients so that they can see the availability of all the goods and brands in Jadore. We plan to develop that project with INOXOFT.

How did you come to work with INOXOFT?

I wanted to have a full-time, general purpose developer and I was looking for one in my city. One of my business partners referred INOXOFT and I met with them.

We have spent more than $80,000 for INOXOFT’s services.

We have been working with INOXOFT from June 2015 to present. We have more plans for the future.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

During our work together, they were really proactive. INOXOFT usually added more features and analysis capabilities to our database. During the process, they were helpful with fixing any bugs. All the resolutions were achieved within one to two days. Also, I liked how they organized the universal product code. They integrated the analysis so that now we are able to find solutions to problems with our goods. Say, for example, a customer buys a product but the delivery was not handled well. With the UPC, we can organize our business process and identify the issue. They are good with data collation and related tasks. Production data is very important for retail businesses, that’s why the UPC and its features were great for us. We worked with INOXOFT for only a year and everything was implemented.

How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

Usually, we meet in person. I like that they spend so much time talking with me and sharing ideas. They follow Scrum technology to manage their developers. We had some delays, but they were very rare and were always explained to me. They would call if they needed more time, which was nice.

What did you find most impressive about INOXOFT?

They’re very organized and I like that they were flexible. If something changes in the market or we want to exclude a brand from our goods, INOXOFT can easily adjust to our needs. They're dedicated and they care about my business.

Are there any areas INOXOFT could improve?

There is nothing I would change; I'm totally satisfied with their work.
