We needed mobile app development services. My goal was to develop faster and save money.

INOWU provided mobile app development services. We started our engagement with INOWU by having the team write documentation for us. INOWU helped us formalize our company's internal documentation, which allowed their developer to get familiar with our technology stack. After that, we contracted one of their developers for two months to develop faster.

INOWU's developer used React Native and worked on end-to-end encrypted chat, profile picture upload, and formatting and UI work.

We worked with INOWU from June–August 2024. We paused our engagement because we needed to save money.

INOWU helped us save time by doing a good job with tickets. Overall, INOWU did a good job, and the quality of their work met our expectations.

How did INOWU perform from a project management standpoint?

INOWU delivered work on time and within budget. The team communicated well with us using Discord and GitHub.

I want to give a shout-out to the developer we worked with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

INOWU's biggest strength was that they were quick to set up the development environment, which saved time. In general, the team was very quick.

Are there any areas they could improve?

INOWU's hourly rate was good; however, we had to do some rework and needed some clarification, so the engagement wasn't as efficient as I would've liked.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I suggest being specific about what you want when creating tickets for INOWU's engineers. The more detailed, the better. If you aren't detailed in your tickets, it could leave room for rework later. The more thorough you are, the more likely you'll receive what you want.

The scope of work for ToneTip SAAS is to transition the project from a single developer to a small development company. This includes transition of Andriod and iOS apps as well as the backend Producer database on Google Firestore/Firebase. The scope also includes the update of the UX across the platform. Deliverables include:

Project management consists of one project lead and assigned personnel based on tasks in the Sprint. Tasks are assigned and tracked with Monday.com. Communication is via email, Slack, and Monday.com. Sprint meeting are conduced weekly or more frequently as needed.

The #1 Task (Android Update) was delivered on time. Other tasks have been assigned and are on schedule. The developer has been very responsive to email and Slack. As a small team, they implement changes and updates quickly, often within a few hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Inowu Dev was selected over 7 other companies during our initial screen process. They are the only company that has reviewed our existing Android code, implemented minor changes, and run the app. Other companys requested several man-weeks of time and funding to do the same thing. Inowu immediately demonstrated that they understook the project, our SAAS, and could quickly implement changes and updates.

Inowu has a well defined process in place and is able to make changes to their processes as needed.

We wanted to develop a mobile app for the patients to save their list of medication and have it ready for their daily us or in every visit at their Doctor’s office or in the ER. Because sometimes we asked the patient what are they taking in most of the times they don’t recall their prescriptions.

I am still in the process of advertising the app, but I had good comments about the app from my patients at the clinic. For me it is very helpful.

• Functions were working just good, maybe some troubles but all was fixed after asking.
• UX is good, Kevin know how to make the platform user friendly and simple. It is the best part of INOWU according to my experience

Always communicating, 24/7 the team was for me. Never felt rejected about my comments about the platform. The team was always willing to help. We used WhatsApp, Monday and mail.
