Please describe your company and your position there.

Our company is a manufacturer, importer and distributor of modern consumer and professional electronics on the international market since 2008. I'm Maxim Fomenko, owner and CEO of AVIS Electronics.

For what projects/services did your company hire Initlab, and what were your goals?

We turned to Initlab with several tasks: SEO promotion, Drupal sites support and development. THe goals we had were web-sites rework and improvement, web-site support and SEO works to get and maintain organic trafic from Google search in the targeted markets.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a contractor to maintain a site developed by a freelancer, as well as to develop a new site for our brand of TVs for bathrooms and kitchens. The decisive factor was that Initlab specializes specifically in Drupal, they have a team of professionals, a high level of competence was visible in everything related to it.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

Initlab developed an online store for AVEL TVs for the American and European markets from the beginning. They were engaged in its support and SEO promotion to increase sales. Initlab also developed a website for our brand for the markets of those countries where we do not yet have a representative office. The primary task was to take the top 10 positions in Google search results by popular queries related to our products, as well as increasing our brand awareness and visibility.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

5 employees worked with us: 2 SEO specialists, a back-end developer, a front-end developer and a project manager. We are pleased with their professionalism level.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were satisfied with both developed sites and the results of their SEO optimization. The online store has all the necessary functionality: prices depend on geolocation, a shopping cart and payment acceptance are set up. Website design is modern and user-friendly. We reached TOP 10 for almost all target queries in Google.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had a personal manager from Initlab, who was always in touch. The work was carried out on time, and during the development all our wishes were taken into account. To control the work, the helpdesk system is used, where tasks are entered automatically. Once a week we call each other to discuss the details and intermediate results. At the end of the month, we receive a report on the work done, results and hours worked.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Initlab is a team of professionals who do their job well. They keep their promisses and follow the agreements. It's simple but actually rare nowadays.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Any client wants to have more attention and priority to its project and our company too, but I understand it's the matter of our considerably low budget. I wish Initlab team to develop their business and propose more services in the future, we will be happy to cooperate!
