I am the cofounder of Stakt, a wellness brand.

We hired Informal to provide design/development services for our product - a uniquely foldable fitness mat.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Informal through a highly recommended personal referral. Nate and Sam were immediately engaged and interested in helping us find a solution to our problems!

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We worked with Informal on ideation of the product design for 3-5 months or so before we finalized a design and moved to creating a tool to manufacture our product.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The informal team has a wide network of additional services included sourcing and brand development. All in all, we have worked with a product designer, marketing manager, branding expert and sourcing agent via the Informal network. All of the members are professional and very good at what they do!

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We went to market in nearly 1 year - and have since sold 5000+ units of the product. We even filed for a patent and pitched our product on Shark Tank!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective workflow- we work with them closely via slack and email. They are highly communicative.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They built a vast network and their team members had unique skill sets. We also liked how they approached us before the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Truly hard to think of any negative points of feedback with this team - they rock!
