I'm the founder of Blue Tractor Group LLC.

What challenge were you trying to address with InfernoRed Technology?

We needed support to develop custom software for our company. We also required project management and post-launching support. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we met with InfernoRed Technology at their offices and outlined what we wanted for this project. We had discussions, and then my project manager liaised with the team to develop the software. During the initial phase, InfernoRed Technology suggested platforms to host the software, including Microsoft Azure and Google, and we decided to use Microsoft Azure. 

InfernoRed Technology has built most of the coding using C language, and I've created a piece of coding in R that the team integrated into the software. The software uses Microsoft Azure, and the team has supported all the security and added other layers of security on top of Microsoft Azure's security. The software has a function that allows users to control what their portfolios look like. 

The software builds a portfolio of securities for fund managers and custodians. The team has also developed a functionality for users to fine-tune the portfolios they receive from cloud software. InfernoRed Technology has completed our software, and we maintain a relationship with the team and contact them when we require development or maintenance services we can't undertake ourselves. 

What is the team composition?

We've worked with Lee (Solution Samurai), Matthew (Weapon of Mass Construction), Scott (Co-Founder & CEO), and a developer. Matthew was one of the teammates we met initially, and I've also worked with project managers and other 1-2 programmers when we were working on security tasks.

How did you come to work with InfernoRed Technology?

I contacted InfernoRed Technology through a referral. We interviewed three companies and decided on InfernoRed Technology.
How much have you invested with them?

We've spent over $1 million on this engagement.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with InfernoRed Technology in the summer of 2018. The team completed completed our software in March 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

InfernoRed Technology has helped us build an essential piece of software for our business because we couldn't secure clients without it. We needed to have a piece of software ready and available from the first day we opened for business to new clients. InfernoRed Technology has been essential to achieving this objective. InfernoRed Technology's work meets my expectations. The team may seem small compared to other companies, but they always have a teammate with the needed expertise.

How did InfernoRed Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

InfernoRed Technology delivers work on time and on budget. The team communicates well with us through regular meetings throughout the development phase, phone calls, and emails. We also use a project management tool. InfernoRed Technology's project manager organizes the team and tracks tasks, giving us a full update on each task they undertake. We have an interactive and informative collaboration.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Lee. He has stood out throughout the project and worked with us for the longest period.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We haven't encountered anything InfernoRed Technology hasn't been able to manage. I wish they had more resources available, but I understand companies don't operate like that, and it is difficult to have teammates immediately available. InfernoRed Technology runs a lean ship, and I know why some things aren't urgent enough to finish the project. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest speaking to Scott or Matt to identify the project's needs as clearly as possible. This way, InfernoRed Technology can get the resources best suited for your project. Having good communication upfront with InfernoRed Technology is essential. If you do that, the team can satisfy any customer's desires.

InfernoRed created the first iteration of a new React.js website, an iOS app, an Android app, and a REST API to support all three. They also supported us in interviewing and hiring our own engineers to take over the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The REST SDK, the iOS App, and the Android App were successfully launched to our customers, and the new website is in beta. All development was successfully and cleanly handed over to our new internal development team.

InfernoRed did a great job of managing the project, often in the face of developing or changing requirements. They consistently delivered what was asked in a timely manner and were incredibly responsive.
