Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the director of a business that provides a social platform connecting parents to providers of educational activities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Indiadox Solutions?

Our team doesn’t have a CTO, so we need to outsource most of our tech development. A previous contractor started web development for us, and we needed to resolve the issues with their work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they took over work from the previous company we contracted. They fixed all the bugs and continued web development, which can be harder than developing from scratch. They were in charge of all the tech components for our collaboration. Our in-house project manager communicated with them on what was required, and then they executed it.

We already had plenty of design work, but they ensured we had mobile-optimized designs. They refined the site layout and worked on the site’s interfaces. They utilized the reporting system effectively as well. They're currently developing and designing a mobile app that is Android and iOS compatible.

What is the team dynamic?

I primarily worked with the person who selected the team that worked on this project.

How did you come to work with Indiadox Solutions?

We tried outsourcing work to another company, but had bad experience with them. A colleague referred me to Indiadox, and working with them proved to be much better.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $10,000 – $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since February 2017. They've completed all the work for the website, which is just coming online, and now they’re working on the mobile app.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received feedback from people saying the site design is great. They like the way it looks, and they're quite happy with the layout.

How did Indiadox Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They're extremely responsive. The time difference between us did not inhibit their work. For example, whenever I requested changes they would respond and complete the necessary work. We communicate through Skype and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They offer a great value for their services, especially compared to the previous companies I’ve worked with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It took them some time to get used to my work style and specifications, but after a while they adjusted to what I expected and needed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure your requirements are very clear. If your communication is vague when working with an outsourcing company, they will not deliver exactly what you want.

They were fantastic to deal with, providing high-quality teamwork and excellent communication. There were some occasional public holiday periods that delayed the project a bit but they made up for it in the end.

Their skilled developers have great knowledge of different technologies such as CakePHP, Cordova, AngularJS, MySQL, and more.

The speed at which they work and their clean code are very impressive. Their team understands the assigned tasks easily and delivers on time.

I’m 100% satisfied with their work and would recommend them for both website and hybrid mobile app development. I always look forward to the next assignment with these guys.
