League-aware chatbot infrastructure integrating Sleeper league settings detection, so the same player returns different values and recommendations depending on which of a user's leagues they're asking about. Trade analyzer logic, historical value fetching, and Vegas odds reasoning integrated into the Howie Wynn chatbot surface. Schema migrations with documented rollback plans, composite index design, and backward-compatibility handling. Resolved a data-correctness gap affecting the majority of the user base; Howie now serves format-accurate dynasty values across 12 league-format variants instead of a single hardcoded format. 20 out of 20 real-user scenarios across four production-configured leagues passed end-to-end validation after deployment. 1,147 automated tests passing post-refactor with zero regressions. Trade analyzer payload reduced from approximately 5KB to 400 bytes per request, with corresponding latency improvement. Production migration on a 4,897-row table completed additively with zero data loss and a documented rollback path.

Milestones are delivered on the timelines we scope. When complications arise — schema ordering, backward-compatibility concerns, migration risk — Anton raises them proactively in planning rather than surfacing them at delivery. On the recent multi-format sync project, he flagged a migration-ordering risk that would have caused duplicate-key errors if handled wrong, identified it in the planning phase, and structured the deployment sequence to avoid it. Improvs.com's communication is fast and asynchronous-friendly. He works across time zones and responds in hours, not days. When I push back on scope, cost, or technical approach, he engages directly and substantively rather than defensively.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Two things. First, the insistence on milestone-based contracts rather than hourly. This aligns incentives cleanly — I pay for outcomes, they get paid for delivery, and we both know what "done" means before work starts. Most contractors I interviewed defaulted to hourly arrangements. Anton's milestone-based default is a signal of confidence in his own estimates and throughput, and it's made our working relationship simpler from day one. Second, the willingness to push back. On more than one occasion Anton has challenged a technical decision I came in with, and on more than one of those occasions he's been right. That's worth significantly more than a contractor who executes whatever you specify without question.
