I’m the creative director of Wij Maken Apps, a company that develops custom apps for SMEs and ensures the process is simple and accessible for entrepreneurs.

What challenge were you trying to address with iAppstack Solutions?

We’ve hired iAppstack Solutions to outsource part of our development work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

iAppstack Solutions has carried out various projects for us, mainly focused on app development. They’ve also delivered a few websites, but their primary focus has been on apps that we’ve developed for companies. We’ve first mapped out the needs, assessed the right fit for each company, and defined the scope of the app. iAppstack Solutions has then built the actual app for both Android and iOS and made it available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.iAppstack Solutions has delivered various apps. These range from in-house apps for companies focused on internal communication with employees, to efficiency apps, time constraint apps, and apps that provide a kind of in-house social media platform for companies. They’ve also developed apps that track and trace how certain business processes or departments are reflected within an organization. So, the scope is very broad, and they have extensive knowledge in all of these areas.

We work with 2–5 teammates from iAppstack Solutions.

How did you come to work with iAppstack Solutions?

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, had good value for the cost, and had company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We first started working together in 2018 with a number of pilot apps, and this collaboration continues to this day, with several apps being delivered each year. iAppstack Solutions develops very quickly, carefully, and accurately. Their approach is pragmatic and hands-on, without making things more complicated than necessary. This allows them to deliver fast, which helps us respond quickly to our clients’ needs. As a result, we can take on more work, outsource the development to iAppstack Solutions, carry out our own final quality check, and bring our products to market faster.Moreover, the turnaround times have become increasingly shorter, even within a week if needed. There’s also the possibility to continue development and approach projects in phases. This allows us to deliver a functional first phase, give users time to get used to the app, allow for an adoption period, and then continue to expand it. So, everything is handled in a very phased way.

We mainly communicate through virtual meetings.

I am president of Comquest Corporation. We provide software development services and maintain a portfolio of proprietary products.

For what projects/services did your company hire iAppstack Solutions, and what were your goals?

Our developers in the US are proficient in many areas, but wished to pull in resources proficient in Android Mobile Development. We wished to find a group that could work along side our developers to provide expertise as well as software development.

How did you select iAppstack Solutions and what were the deciding factors?

I interviewed Hardik Joshi of iAppstack Solutions and found him to be very proficient in Mobile development and a good communicator as well.

Comquest Corp provided a detailed requirements document from which we set up a shared plan in Trello. the iAppstack Solutions team and our own developers executed against the Trello task list while communicating daily using Skype.

We have worked with one developer and one tester from iAppstack.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still in progress, but the results have been excellent so far.

iAppstack executes well against the Trello Plan and is forthcoming with questions and comments when more detail is needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Cooperation has been excellent! Between the Skype interactions, we share a code repository that has worked out very well. Despite the time difference, they have been flexible with schedule and we are able to coordinate in real-time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None.
