Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a manager of Tadar, a direct importer and distributor of household goods. We offer products from leading Polish and international brands and serve individual and institutional clients in Poland and abroad.

What challenge were you trying to address with erce?

We needed support to design and build a custom e-commerce store.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hummerce has built our custom e-commerce store from scratch and provides ongoing maintenance. Key deliverables include custom web design and UX/UI, front- and backend development, and continuous SLA technical support with performance optimization. Hummerce has also integrated third-party services like payment gateways (e.g., Przelewy24, InpostPay), internal ERP/WMS systems to ensure automated order processing (Base, Comarch ERP), and direct integration with marketplaces like Allegro, Empik, and InpostVonHalsky.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Hummerce.

How did you come to work with erce?

Someone referred Hummerce to me.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Hummerce in February 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Key measurable outcomes include a significant improvement in site speed and stability, the seamless launch of our B2B portal (which is in progress), higher conversion rates, and sustained revenue growth following the platform deployment. The project has delivered strong, measurable progress across our operations by significantly improving conversion rates and average order values through a redesigned UX and a dedicated B2B portal. Additionally, we’ve achieved faster page load speeds and maintained high platform stability during peak traffic while streamlining our B2B order processing, reducing manual entry errors, and driving overall operational efficiency.

How did erce perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps. While Hummerce’s technical team responds quickly to daily maintenance requests and outages, overall project management for new features has faced delays. Key deliverables, such as the B2B module, are still in development and have extended past the original timeline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hummerce’s responsiveness during downtime and their understanding of our architecture are their strongest assets.
Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their project management regarding release dates for major deliverables and focus more on proactive issue prevention, ensuring fewer disruptions on a system they designed.
