### Benefits Consulting Saves 18% on Premiums While Upgrading Benefits
Background: Michel et Augustin is a French pastry and cookie company with a strong presence in the U.S. The CEO engaged us to help him streamline benefits and payroll to decrease costs and labor. We worked with our trusted partner Justworks to save Michel et Augustin 18% on their health insurance rates while greatly upgrading health, dental, vision, 401(k), LTD/STD, life insurance and other benefits offered to employees. We helped the CEO get back 10+ hours a week, reduce overwhelm, automating payroll, benefits deductions and outsourcing all benefits questions from employees to the vendor.


### Interim Chief HR Officer
Elite Healthcare Consultants is a comprehensive business service agency providing administrative services to home care agencies of all sizes. Some of our services include intake, payroll, recruiting, and human resources. They engaged our CEO in an interim CHRO / Chief People Role in order to build up an HR function, streamline talent acquisition, increase retention and develop the workforce, as well as to create career pathways and salary bands, to streamline and save costs on benefits and payroll, to implement an ATS and HRIS, as well as drastically improve the employer brand to attract better talent. They likewise engaged us to design and implement a comprehensive HR Digital Transformation plan over the course of 12 months (still in progress) encompassing the consolidation under one umbrella the disparate HR, Recruiting, Benefits and Payroll functions, significantly decreasing costs from unified systems and FTEs. Thirdly, we have developed a Learning & Development program, trainings and workshops for leadership development and improving team communication, as well as increasing the flow and quality of internal communications, overhauling the stocked kitchen menu for much healthier options and making physical and design improvements in line with brand guidelines.
Results: So far, we have saved Elite 47% ($30K) on yearly talent acquisition costs, improved the Glassdoor score by 60% from 2.7 to 4.3 (and rising), saved 22% ($10K) on yearly catering costs while greatly improving quality and employee satisfaction and undertaken various other initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and experience, while driving down costs across the board.


### Building a Robust HR Department
Background: After taking their home health company from a family business in 2012 to breakneck growth with 200 staff and 300 clinicians in a few short years (Inc. 5000 company in 2018, 2019), CEO Sofia and COO Alex Koshevatsky found themselves over-stretched in their business.
Particularly thin on the Human Resources function, with just an HR Coordinator and Recruiter with an aggregate of 2 years experience, they reached out to HR, Talent & Systems Consulting for help with designing a superior employee experience and employer brand, a clear and proven talent management strategy to decrease turnover and for leadership and management coaching.
The CEO and COO found themselves frustrated with mediocre employee performance and motivation, lack of a compelling brand story, lack of time and help to focus on strategic issues, top staff departures and lack of an overarching strategy, design and systems to underwrite the crazy growth and scaling. The Employee Handbook did not capture their culture or processes well. The on-boarding process was piecemeal and insufficient, especially for a slew of new executive hires.
 Action Taken
We strategized and designed their schedules and management/leadership practices to improve their time management, helping them to automate, outsource and delegate more effectively to staff, VAs and set up systems for improved internal communication, project management and productivity, freeing up precious time during the week for strategic planning, brainstorming sessions to improve client service and branding, delivering constructive feedback to staff, as well as leveling up their mindset and decision-making as leaders and managers through executive coaching. 
Meanwhile, we designed and rewrote from scratch their Employee Handbook to outline all benefits, work and compliance policies. We likewise designed and up-scaled the on-boarding process for executives with executive coaching and a developed program for ramping up quickly w/in 100 days.
