Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of RedCapX. We are an agency focused on coaching start-ups and developing clients’ services.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Honest Block?

We hired them to distribute our marketing tasks regarding our recent projects. They have been actively engaged in some fintech related customers that we have acquired recently in the domestic market.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to increase recognition within the younger and tech-savvy customer class in Korea. We were to make viral marketing efforts for the lesser known product of our customer.

How did you select this vendor?

We were referenced by one of my peers in the industry. HonestBlock was known for their close customer support in the fintech area along with their comprehensive portfolio of services regarding marketing and PR.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Because our clients had been relatively new and were about to onboard a more popular platform after their long-sought efforts, we were hired to maximized this opportunity. We were mostly planning to increase recognition among users through influencers in specific mediums including blogs, facebook, etc.

What was the team composition?

Our team was composed of two, and we spoke with two representatives from HonestBlock and they had their own set of team within their company. We had a business developer and marketer/designer on our end, and HonestBlock had a client manager and marketing specialist that visited us on a regular basis.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main KPIs we had were increase in (1) view per page and (2) engagement. The numbers clearly demonstrated progress, even compared with a similar project we had with our client that accompanied another marketing agency.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow and results were absolutely terrific. We were fully satisfied with the results and the care that went into planning the efforts. The numbers were better than what we initially expected and we and our client was greatly satisfied.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their professionalism in dealing with a wide range of work. They had great connections within the media network, especially in the fintech and IT area. They further designated appropriate number of employees to effectively manage customer inquiries and deal with and happenings throughout the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Although with great performance, we think it could have been better if they could deal with other industries other than fintech. We also asked them to help us in one of the online retail shopping platform in which they refused due to short experience.

We wanted to manage some of our clients’ social networking platforms, including twitter, youtube and instagram. We hired Honest Block for this task.

Our goals were to begin developing our client’s SNS channels to increase public recognition and accessibility.

We were referenced by one of the clients (not the one we provided service for).

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Our company specializes in providing for small size ventures and startups. One of our clients asked to increase their public recognition before their service launch and we believed it would be most effective if they worked on their SNS channels which would in turn have a ripple effect and a customer-friendly ambience. For the first time our client had launched 4 different SNS channels including twitter, instagram, facebook and medium.

What was the team composition?

Honest Block came with two members, one of general management and one specialized in dealing with communications and SNS management. We did most of the communications and cooperations with the latter.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a success. Currently we have four-digits memberships in the four channels combined. After the project was done we still continued to see organic growth as the community became active on its own.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Honest Block insisted on explaining to us the entire process of their work, status of the SNS ecosystem and how well they could tackle the market with the tactics.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive were their responses to our questions. Not only were they extremely quick, but they also seem to have experienced most of the issues that we went through.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, the service was satisfactory.
