Once we decided on a candidate to hire, they are acting rather like a temp position staffing company where they send us an invoice and we pay it. All of the background stuff and International stuff is handled by them.

They do charge a recurring fee that you'll be paying for the entire time you are working with one of their placed people... unless you opt to "buy out" the contract, which amounts to paying for the fee for a year. It gave me pause because I thought you had to make that decision up front and hope the person works out if you want to pay the fee upfront. Turns out you can go a few months and then do the "buy out" - problem solved.

A little more transpareny on the placement fees would be good but I found that info searching for reviews.
