Our organization is called Sina architecture design. We're a design team that also does custom home builds and development projects. I'm an assistant here.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hilborn Digital?

We hired Hilborn Digital to build our website. They also ran our entire marketing campaign.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hilborn Digital did both the development and design work from scratch. They also ran our marketing campaign and worked on SEO and our social media. They programmed the site using PHP, HTML, and CSS and built our website on a WordPress platform. 

For our branding, they selected a color scheme and designed our logo and business cards. They proposed and implemented several digital marketing strategies including social media marketing, SEO, and content marketing. 

What is the team composition? 

I worked with Sarah (Founder and SEO, Hilborn Digital) who focused on our blog. About 5–10 people worked on our project. They had developers, graphic designer, content writers, and SEO specialists involved. 

How did you come to work with Hilborn Digital?

We found Hilborn Digital online. A previous first team built us a website we were not at all pleased with, so we needed a new provider. We knew one of their past clients, and they came well recommended with strong references. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent about $65,000–$75,000 CAD (approximately $49,000–$57,000 USD) just on marketing costs. We pay them on a monthly basis. The website cost about $15,000 CAD (approximately $11,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since November 2016. 
 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Right now, we're ranking on the first page for all of our target keywords. Our company is very happy with our SEO. We show up for literally every search query, including custom home builders. 

We measure our results through search engine rankings. On average, we get roughly around 5–8 leads per month who contact us to work for them. Overall, we're very pleased with Hilborn Digital.

How did Hilborn Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management skill, including meeting deadlines and keeping us in the loop about progress, is one of the main reasons we stick with Hilborn Digital. They're on the ball for things we're not even on top of internally. They go above and beyond, and I love working with them. They've kept us on schedule and have signed us up for services I didn't even know existed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our old website was neither well designed nor working properly. Hilborn Digital was able to improve it considerably. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Since we don't work in this field, I don't know of anything they could do differently. They've done everything we've asked for and are very good at what they do. We're very happy with them.
