Haystack

Haystack is an AI and automation company based in Gżira, Malta. We help businesses take the repetitive work off their teams: typing data between systems, reading invoices and documents, chasing approvals and building the same reports every month.

Every project starts by finding where time is actually lost. We then build around the tools a business already uses, with automated workflows, connected systems, AI that reads and checks documents, and private AI assistants built on a company's own information. People stay in charge of every decision that matters, and every step is logged.

Alongside client work, we build our own platforms for specific industries, including Haystack Tax for accountants (it fills in Malta's corporate tax return from the tax computation and trial balance), Haystack Customs for importers, and platforms for operations, sales, iGaming and design firms.

Founded in 2020, Haystack is backed by two established Maltese groups, M. Demajo Group and CLA Malta, who became equity partners in 2022. We have worked with organisations including the Vassallo Group, Gianpula Village, The Malta Experience, Corinthia Group, Kinds, illy and Yellow Pages Malta.

Clients work directly with the founders and the people who build their systems. There are no account managers in between. We offer a free 30-minute discovery call, and many projects in Malta can be part-funded through Malta Enterprise schemes.
