For what projects/services did your company hire HaltenTech, and what were your goals?

I wanted to have a delivery service app and portal developed and then offer it as a service to restaurants and Liferservices. The portal should be a convenience for restaurant customers to order and for restaurants to take online orders.

Restaurants should be able to set up and maintain everything themselves. Restaurant customers should be able to create their own account, get coupons, participate in promotions. How did you select HaltenTech and what were the deciding factors?

I heard about HaltenTech through an acquaintance and had established a good relationship. The owner understood my idea and I felt in very good hands with him.

On the one hand, the portal should provide the restaurant customer with an opportunity to order food online from popular restaurants in the vicinity, participate in promotions, be informed about news (push + e-mail).

On the other hand, the restaurant should be able to manage everything itself: - Menu - delivery areas - Opening hours / vacations etc. - Change content at any time - See incoming orders and order overview - Create promotions and special offer menus - Manage delivery status - Manage means of payment - Kundenaccount verwalten.

There are many logics behind it, so that it all works and makes sense. HaltenTech has been very supportive in advising me on these logics.

How many resources from the HaltenTech team worked with you, and what were their positions?

at least 3 programmers(maby more), one designer and one DevOps did everything for me - from programming to setup of google cloud services. Frontend + backend developers, DevOps, CEO himself supervised and managed everything.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

the tasks set were completed at the times specified. For this, the developers also worked voluntarily on weekends and holidays. We were able to put an app for a customer online after only 6 months. The portal development took time, but the promised deadlines were met.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We used Trello to record everything and I could always take a look at the progress and add my comments or note down new ideas quickly. The communication via zoom worked great.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The development of a portal based on modern development languages (react) and resources. They were a great team that provided quality work and price.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I understand that appearance is not the most important thing at the beginning, but it is important for the customer from the very beginning. You should think about UX design right from the start.
